”We stayed here for a wedding at Bourton Hall, the location is great and the outdoor/conservatory area is fantastic for drinks in the sun. The room was clean and comfortable, however the walls were pigging and in desperate need of repainting. Overall was a great stay though.”

”Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in...

”It was my 1st ever time staying at a Britannia hotel and I felt I didn't get value for money from what I'd paid to stay overnight because breakfast buffet wasn't included, which was disappointing. However, I felt I got a decent price for a very spacious double room with a nice view of Coventry city centre and I'd definitely consider staying at a Britannia hotel again if breakfast was included in the price instead of being quoted £24 to have breakfast added to the cost of staying overnight”

”All the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful from arrival to departure which made for an enjoyable stay. Our room was a good size with a four poster bed and a nice view to the front of the property. The hotel public areas looked great and were well kept. Food and drink prices in the hotel and grounds a little on the high side.”

”The hotel seemed to be short staffed during breakfast service. The staff seemed annoyed when we ordered eggs. For some reason, the radiators were on full blast in the corridor between reception and the rooms despite it being 30+ degrees outside. So it was a bit uncomfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t great in our room. It was blowing but the air wasn’t cooled. A red light was flashing on the temperature control. To be fair, the hotel could have probably resolved these issues if we had...

”Poor experience No room service No way to contact reception from room. Phone lines are dead Builder work going on causing loads of noise. Toilet leaking Mattress very uncomfortable and you can count the spring touching your back. ”
