”Definitely would stay here again. Bought my mom here for Mother’s Day and it was really nice. The property had really good communication and even allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled timing. Beds were comfy and house keeping everyday was a plus, just wish they would come earlier in the day instead of 3pm when you would like to take a nap but all in all I Would recommend ”

”We very much enjoyed our stay at Xanadu Island resort. The hotel is hidden in a lush setting. The bedrooms are comfortable although they are not as roomy as they look on the pictures. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are golf carts for rent and bikes are complimentary, as well as kayaks. The pool is very pleasant and quiet. ”This place is not as advertised. Terrible wifi. Dilapidated exterior and surroundings. No beach access! Mosquito infestation m. I checked out the very next day and would have nit even stayed that night but was stranded. It’s a deserted island. Period! Don’t stay here!!!!!’nnnn”

”Our family stayed here and had a wonderful time. It's just as described, and Aileen, Randy, and their staff were all very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our 4yo especially enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool! (Incidentally, we loved being able to enjoy the rooftop space, along with 2 patios off of our condo.) The property is very clean, well taken care of, and a wonderful place to stay while you explore the island. We also felt secure and appreciated being able to rent a cart from them...

Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. ”We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable.
