Amelia Island Hotellit

”I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.”

”The resort is rather big and it can be hard to go around as the signs were not all that good. Luckily there was a shuttle between different locations. Room itself was nice and the view was great! :) ”

”Quiet spot just steps from the beach. Your needs are covered with a fully equipped kitchen We kept the front door open so we could enjoy the sound of the waves and cool weather. There is an outside sitting area by your front door. Bed was very comfortable. ”

”First time here. I like the fact they’re so few rooms at the location and that they keep flying hours from 9 PM to 9 AM.. felt personalized. Clean, novel, friendly. Comfortable bed…. I’ll definitely go back.”

”We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, the afternoon snacks and water and the 24 hour coffee and tea bar. The location is perfect, beachfront. With volleyball, miniature golf and a playground next door. The area is low key and relaxed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.”

”Everything was excellent with the exception of the breakfast buffet considering the room rate. Sparse and cheap best describe the buffet which consisted of cold scrambled eggs, over cooked sausage patties and clumpy oatmeal. Only fruit offered were a few bananas and the bread selection was also limited. There were two waffle irons available but the crowd of people trying to cook something hot for their children made the wait too long. For a Marriott property I found this buffet substandard. ...

”Pet friendly, easy walk to beach with chairs and towels provided! Very comfortable bed, good sized room but bathroom needs updating. Minimal water pressure in the shower. Nice lobby area and nice breakfast buffet included! This is a Hilton property but was advertised as a Hampton Inn when booking. ”

”It was exactly what we were expecting. Room was clean and comfortable. We did not go in the pool area as the weather wasn’t great the day we were there. ”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area....

”Property is amazing and home renovation and condition was outstanding, unfortunately we went on a cold weekend and the room was freezing (60°F) with no way to adjust temperature. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These conditions resulting in almost no sleep.”

”Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Richard and Kayla, at the front desk. The property has some wear and tear that will probably need repairing eventually, but still clean and functioning. Location was EXCELLENT; the beach was visible and within walking distance from the hotel. Nice park, mini golf, restaurant and gas station all within walking distance. ”
