”Very nice stay in small and cosy Old Amersham village. The hotel was cute little old building dating back to 15th century (oldest parts). Room was well equipped; big bathroom with tub and separate shower. Complimentary toiletries ans water was provided. Breakfast was okay, more british style (as scandinavians we missed all the veggies). Staff was very helpfull and nice.”

”As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. ”

”Lovely. The website/photos don't do it justice. Double bed was comfy and good set of pillows. It was near freezing when we arrived, but the room had been warmed nicely. There was a guide for places to eat, what to do and so forth. Breakfast was excellent, cooked really well and to order. One morning I was out during breakfast, but the left out cereal and other things like Yogurts, Pain au Chocolat etc. I would 100% recommend staying here, quiet too. The owners are really lovely and...

Home to Benjamin Disraeli from 1848 - 1881, then taken over by the Air Ministry as a top secret map-making base during the Second World War. Great informative guides in all of the rooms.
