”I don’t have pets nor did I see any on site. The room was 9/10 clean, when I removed the sheets and pillowcases off the bed before checking out there was wood chips or something under the cover, but other then that everything was clean and the furniture was updated. Staff was always friendly as well, although the phone in the hotel room did not (forgot to tell staff) as I used my phone. ”Sign by dining room listed its hours of operation for all 3 daily meals, but when we came by for dinner well within the listed time frame, there was literally nobody around anywhere. There was no indication that it might only be certain days or by reservation only, in fact it's listed as a full public restaurant on their website, with public menu visible, we'd even planned what we wanted to order. And it was a Friday night, so even if they were only open some days, surely they'd be open for...

”I found the breakfast to be okay. The eggs were like a little rubbery and I am not a fan of paper plates and plastic utensils. Not very environmentally friendly. Also, the toilet paper in our room was like sandpaper. The staff was excellent. The lady in the breakfast area was very friendly. Our room was very nice.”

”we stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely, clean and comfortable. 3 of us, so made use of the pull out coach. Seperate temperature controls for upstairs vs downstairs was nice but a little noisy. Breakfast in the main inn was very tasty and the staff were all great, especially Malachai who gave us more information about the University.”

”Stayed with my partner prior to him having surgery scheduled for the next day. Given a 2nd floor room (up 15 stairs) because the elevator was out of service. Room was filthy, toilet in bathroom very dirty. Because reservation was for 2 nights put in a request for a ground floor room. This was granted and room was cleaner but the guest directly above stomped around in what could only have been steel toed boots from 10pm to 1am. Never went to a breakfast area so cannot comment, but overall opinion...
