”Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. The food was excellent, I had the fish platter which I would highly recommend. Staff were attentive and polite, it's a five stars from me”

”Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.”

”When we arrived about 5.45pm Sunday evening we could hear a lot of noise coming from the bar area . We went to our room and freshened up arriving back at the bar about 6.15pm. The bar was dominated by a group of "locals" who were worst for wear, shouting and swearing. My husband and I retreated to the terrace which was a bit cool. We asked if any managers were on duty and were told no. The staff were just youngsters and had no authority to deal with these people. We were told that the manager...

”The room was clean and tidy and easy location to find. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was good but there were no gluten free options out, I always had to ask”

”What a beautiful room! Great to have a sofa and a big tv with lots of channels to choose from. Slept fairly well, but there was no aircon and the windows opened just a little bit. It’s a bit far from the city centre but totally walkable. Train station about 10 min walk away. It was a lovely stay overall, but very pricey.”

”We stayed here a few times now and always been great. Staff are always nice and willing to help. Little thing was main meal wasn't good but can't knock our stay, can't be perfect all the time. I would recommend it to stay here ”
