Huonoin aamupala IKINÄ
Huone oli 2 hengen huone joka oli 2 kertaa niin iso kuin suihku/wc joka sijaitsi käytävällä. Siitäkin puolet vei kerrossänky 3 hengelle. Surkein esitys oli kuitenkin aamupala. Vain leipää ja päälle vain voita, hilloa, maapähkinävoita tai suklaalevitettä. Ja kylmää kahvia tai teetä. Itse olen keliakikko, joten minulle oli vain kahvia. Tuollainen hotelli ei saisi mainostaa että aamupala kuuluu hintaan.

You're literally right next to the Reijksmuseum among other attractions. It's a cheap room to pass out in after a day of doing the actual fun stuff.

It’s really terrible after paying with credit cards before arriving they still insist that I must be on arrival with cash . I had to look for another alternative.

Scammers, don't go here
Had booked a bed in a 10 bed dorm, but I was put in a 15 bed dorm and told they didn't even have a 10 bed dorm. I had to pay cash, which normally is not an issue, but after I contacted hotels.com support to help with my situation I found out why it's cash only. As soon as the nice worker from hotels.com said where he was from, they hung up on him and afterwards they didn't pick up the phone, and because it was cash I couldn't get my money when they won't cooperate. The workers at the hostel were rude and kept trying to scam people. I met a Belgian who left the same time as me, and they kept trying to not give her the key deposit back, claiming she didn't pay one, when there was a very clear price of paper with her info and a 10€ bill on it. Scammers. They had no clue about who was staying where in the dorm, people kept getting assigned beds that were taken, there was no ventilation, the bathroom and shower was never cleaned, it was nasty and there was no toilet paper for 2 days despite me telling them there wasn't any. Complete scam, don't go here, not even your booking agency can help you if you go here.

Me gusto, estaba muy cerca del museo Van Gogh y lo que no me gustó, es que el colchón es de goma espuma de 5 cms, muy vieja,. Al preguntar al recepcionista por donde se podía dejar el auto, me indico que en la calle debo pagar por horas y que me descargará una app, de la cual el no sabía cuál era.

SCAM ALERT
This property is a complete scam. I booked a 10-bed room with ensuite, but at check in got put into a 15-bed room. When I complained, the check-in guy gave me LOTS of attitude about I need to be sure about my reservation before I accuse anything because it doesn't match his data... until I showed him a copy of my reservation and proved I was right. Zero apologies for the attitude. Manager claimed that no 10-bed room exists, but somehow I doubt that the booking engines are making up their own descriptions, so... Anyway, finally got put into a 9-bed room with no bathroom, but couldn't be bothered complaining again with the incredibly rude staff. Uncomfortable beds, floors were sticky and hadn't been properly cleaned. Property charges cash deposits for keys, which is not mentioned ANYWHERE online - probably because they like to be completely random with the prices - I watched as the reception guy made up completely different amounts for the key deposit for different people checking in, while I was waiting for my room assignment to be fixed. To top it all off, the reception guy point blank REFUSED to issue any receipts for anything - which is illegal. I am following that up with the authorities. Overall, expedia should be ashamed to have a property like this on your booking engines

Fluffy surprise named Mira
I like the stay! The people were nice, there was a cute fluffy surprise named Mira. A bit og snoring but that's what you ger in a dorm. All in all I had a great experience. The only thing I was missing is a stove in the kitchen.

One of the worst places in Amsterdam
Now i have to say this absolutely the worst place in Amsterdam and there are a few more. The place has a bad oder, terrible management and their reception barely speqk english. Do yourself a favor and never stay there.

This place is overly priced for what it is. The beds are horrendously uncomfortable for one. I think I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is incredibly small and the shower was dirty. I asked the employee at the front desk if I could get some money back if I checked out earlier and they said no. I booked three nights and only stayed one. Not a place I would recommend unless you’re desperate for a place.

The experience of this place has been awful. It started with the charges which were €120 instead of $120. Then the unfriendly and unprofessional personnel, the packed rooms, poor sanitary facilities and in the end not providing any receipts for the charges. Never again! PS.: If I were Expedia, I would scrap this facility from my database.

Mediocre at best
Comfy bed and everything clean. There was 1 tiny bathroom on the floor for 21 people. Even for Dutch standards it was tiny and with no room to hang clothes or put you things. Not even on the toilet for lack of lid. Breakfast was truly minimal with bread and jam. Coffee serves in plastic cups meant for cold drinks.

Decent
The reception staff, and the manager in particular, are nice people. The rooms are relatively comfortable, though they lack many power outlets. Bathrooms are fairly clean. The breakfast was limited and there isnt much of an area to relax in. Overall it is a decent, affordable hostel in a good location.

Cheap and cramped
Was the only option available in Amsterdam, so ended up here in a bed in a room for 8 people. Minimum sanitary conditions for so many people, the bathrooms were dirty and cramped. Breakfast was bread slice with jam or peanut butter and coffee.

They offered an 8 bed dorm on the site but got there and the receptionist said they don’t offer. The stirs are mad steep. The rooms are a bit crowded but manageable. Need more sockets. You have to pay a 5% fee to use card or go to ATM. They don’t serve breakfast, I don’t care how often they say that bread is breakfast. The terrace was amazing, I loved it.

Worst. Stay... ever...
Check in... was a hassle.. cash only.. wasted an hour of my trip finding cash. "Breakfast" no good.. bread and jelly and old coffee, possibly instant Friday night staff was amazing.. saturday staff.. horrible, came back in a Saturday morning, and was asked to show id and key to get back in.. like I wasnt a guest.. then kicked out, for smoking outdoors on a balcony.. the same balcony insmoked on the day before, no working.. no refund.. had to get a hotel out of town.. wasting more time on my trip.. no rules reguarding this were stated at checkin.. 2 signs were posted. 1 behind a door that was alway open, and in a common area i had never been, the desk clerk was rude. And not understanding.. just kicked me out.. stay far away.. even for a hostel.. piss poor.. Notes: Place smelled. Old and not mintained well. Have to pay for towels. No wifi. No food or drink in the building... except for the reception space. Cash only, no atm. Front door after hours.. is a hassle.. and sticks closed.. had to pull very hard when buzzed in.

Non si può far pagare così tanto un ostello tipo più di 200 euro solo per tre notti quando la stanza è con 9 letti o più, non si ha in camera una piccola luce ogni letto quindi se torni tardi sei costretto o a svegliare tutti perché c è una luce sola o devi tentare di camminare al buio se non vuoi svegliare chi già dorme, dove c è solo una presa per caricare cellulare, non c è un porta valori e neanche nulla dove appoggiare qualcosa!! Per non parlare del bagno unico non in stanza ma in tutto il piano!! Pulizie mai viste in camera, bagni sporchi trovati per tre giorni uguale!!! È un furto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! L' unica cosa positiva un ragazzo trovato alla reception di notte molto gentile ed educato che non merita proprio di lavorare lì.....!!!!!!!!!! Mai piuuuuu'!!!
