We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Milkhouse and our host Eline. It was a very easy journey from Schipol (just a 30 minute bus ride & 10 minute walk). Eline greeted us & showed us around the beautiful Milkhouse. The bed is very very comfortable, the shower fabulous and all the amenities you could possibly want are available. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Staying at the Milkhouse means you are close to all the sights which are easily walkable to. An absolutely perfect stay & a wonderful experience.

Absolutely, Absolutley wonderful!. The host is a wealth of information and provides so much to the guest. Very clean, safe area with shopping and many restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Erik and Eline were fantastic hosts. The unit is quaint and beautifully decorated. Location is on the longest canal and very convenient to everything. When we return to Amsterdam, we will surely stay here again ♥️✈️

Wonderful stay in Amsterdam
Absolutely wonderful B&B in central Amsterdam canal location. Easy walk to museums and historic areas. Erik and Eline were exceptional hosts, who provided much help with suggestions for activities and restaurants. Room on smaller side, but had many small touches that made it very special. Erik even drove us to cruise port and carried our bags to cruise check-in after our stay. Highest recommendation.

The host Eline was very helpful with pre-visit suggestions and directions and takes pride in running a comfortable and clean establishment. She also provided a well stocked refrigerator with wine and beer and snacks at no additional charge. It’s also very close to public transportation shopping. We would certainly recommend this place to others. 😉

We loved staying at B&B Milkhouse. It was the perfect location to walk to everything, and Eline was very helpful with recommendations and making sure the room was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam, the room had everything we could have asked for and it was so lovely to be right on the canal in one of the nicest areas!

Property was in a lovely canal front location, close to everything, but relatively quiet. Nicely designed suite with lots of lovely small touches. Excellent bed, with nice little sitting area. Host was very helpful and ensured our stay was a pleasant one. Will definitely stay again when we return to Amsterdam

This is the best B&B experience that I have ever had. The hosts are amazing. Make dinner reservations, rescheduled our canal trip when our train from Paris was delayed, make excursion and shopping suggestions. Anything you need they will assist with. The apartment is bright even though in the basement. The location couldn’t be more central to all of the Amsterdam activities. Next trip we will be staying with them again!

Awesome canal side location in Central Amsterdam
Fantastic location. Enormous bed and everything that you need. Mini bar was restocked every day and the hosts had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and cafes and places we just had to visit. Light switches once you had mastered the weird dimmers worked a treat. Thank you.

Perfect two days in Amsterdam
We were in Amsterdam for two days before a cruise. Our stay here was amazing. Elin text us as soon as our room was ready which was amazing as we were jet lagged. The room was beautiful and clean as could be. The location could not be beat. So close to everything and right on the canal. When are prearranged ride did not show up Elin stepped in and was able to communicate with the taxi company to fix things and was even ready to drive us to the pier herself.

Small but well equipped, Eline was very helpful giving us directions on how to use trams to get around, even going so far as getting us the train and tram tickets for our return journey to the airport. As we had an early morning flight in and a late flight out they stored our luggage so we could make full use of the days. Very friendly and helpful, apartment is central to getting to city centre and museums , all easy walking distance

Beautifully appointed room, with many elegant and thoughtful touches. Spacious shower with lovely toiletries. Very comfortable bed. Generous mini-bar. Fantastic range of books and resources about Amsterdam and some of the local attractions. Eline is an amazing host - very friendly and welcoming, and generous with advice and information. She exceeded our expectations in terms of considering our comfort and convenience: so very thoughtful. The location is fantastic. Quiet, safe, close to transport, and easy walking to museums, galleries, shops, restaurants etc.

A beautifully restored building with tonnes of character. Elaine and Erik were wonderful hosts and assisted us whenever we needed. The property was beautiful. It has the best (and biggest) bed I've ever slept in and they left us treats everyday, including wine and chocolates- they even wrote a card to greet us for our anniversary. When we arrived late due to flight delays, Elaine happily met us to show us the room and give us our keys. It was a gorgeous stay, with excellent locality to restaurants, bars and coffee shops, as well as museums and landmarks. Situated next to the old town, and with a beautiful view of the canal. Wonderful alternative to hotel-Recommend!
Great stay! Close to everything but quiet at night. Room was very well appointed with large comfortable bed and very nice bathroom with a true rain shower. Mini bar and snacks included and restocked daily. Breakfast is included and provided at a nearby bistro. Impeccable housekeeping daily, 5 star quality. Well sound proofed and heated for our November stay. Owner lives upstairs separately. For reference I’ve stayed at Ritz-Carlton and similar properties. Attentive host provided detailed transit alternatives to reach property. Thank you Eline for your help arranging medical care due to my small emergency. Highly recommend. Couple from California.

A fantastic stay in Amsterdam at the Milkhouse B&B. Perfect location and lovely room with everything we needed for a long weekend. The host, Eline, was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had what we needed and enjoyed ourselves. The space itself is thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable (especially the bed!) and there are little useful and thoughtful touches everywhere. We would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Loved this place, Location could not have been better. Ilene was on top of everything and a delightful person as well. A stocked fridge and snacks were just a couple of the of the extra touches she provided. Definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of the city.

Quite simply, this is the best accommodation we have stayed in over all our travels. Both Elina and Erik were incredibly lovely and made our stay feel so comfortable. They gave us some great tips and even did a load of washing for us. The place was in a great location and you step out the door and onto Amsterdam's canals. The room was as described and cleaned daily. We can not thank them enough and highly recommend anyway going to Amsterdam to stay at the milkhouse. Thanks again, Dale and Harriet

This is far and away the best stay experience we've ever had in Amsterdam. After three previous trips staying in luxury hotels along Prinsengracht, we decided to try a different location and now I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Every single detail about the room was perfection. Eline was incredibly gracious and kind, even allowing us to check in earlier due to our flight schedule. The included breakfast at Bagels & Beans was lovely and we looked forward to our morning walk there each day. The complimentary minibar, in-room surprises, and thoughtful notes were much appreciated. Truly a master class in hospitality and we look forward to returning one day.

I would recommend staying here! Eline was a wonderful host - very helpful with all for the details for check-in and the stay. The room was spotless, and cozy. In addition, the space was newly remodeled - room is beautiful with a nice big king size bed. The bathroom is also a nice size too! I can't say enough nice things about this stay. If you are going to Amsterdam, you should definitely stay here!

This is a wonderful b&b to stay in Amsterdam! Elaine was a terrific host and made sure all of our needs were met, and then some. We would not hesitate to return to the Milkhouse B&B, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely place to visit. It is in a charming neighborhood, very centrally located to all the interesting sites.

Idyllic Amsterdam
The B&B Milkhouse was extremely comfortable and perfectly located in a beautiful part of Amsterdam. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and chose special books for us to look at each day. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable.

This was the best place we could have stayed in Amsterdam. It is in a neighborhood on a canal 5 minutes from the museums and about 15 minute tram ride from Dam Square. Eline is amazing. She and her young family live above the basement room. It has a window and the king bed was amazing. She helped us find restaurants, had public transportation cards for us and was available to answer any of our questions. It is a wonderful place to stay! Book it now you won't regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about this lovely B&B. Right from the start, Eline and her husband were amazing hosts. They were to able to accommodate and early check in and hold onto our luggage! The room was spectacular. The king sized bed was luxurious and comfortable, the fully stocked mini bar was a perfect addition and the shower was absolutely amazing. Even the shower products provided were luxurious. Even the location was perfect. Eline went out of her way to make our stay perfect and offered fantastic recommendations! I can not wait to return to Amsterdam and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you, Eline!

From restaurant recommendations to directions and luggage storage, and from a beautiful comfortable spot in a wonderful location to fresh fruit, chocolate, wine, beer, and flowers—she thought of everything! She even helped us get highly sought after tickets to the Anne Frank House. Our stay could not have been better. This was or first trip to Europe, and she helped make every moment of it memorable. Pros: Hosts were very nice and helpful, beyond our expectations! Very modern decor and comfortable bed. Cons: The 3 cement entry stairs down are steep and there is no handrail or anything to hold on to. Shower floor of painted cement has no texture and is a little slippery. Recommendation: Best suited to younger people.

My husband and I travelled to Amsterdam for the first time in July and we were so pleased we had choosen the Milkhouse B & B to stay for 5 nights. It was simply wonderful from the moment we began to correspond with Eline prior to our flight leaving. She provided excellent directions from Amsterdam Central Station to the B & B upon arriving and also during our stay recommendations to other places we visited. The property is truly a 5+ star B & B in every way and the location was perfect for getting to trams or by foot with being on the canals. The bed was most comfortable and linens were lovely. The place was exceptionally spotlessly clean throughout. Everyday the fridge was restocked with beer, wine, water, and chocolate bars all included. Also there was a coffee maker and teas. Fresh fruit dish provided each day. And Eline suprised my husband with a marvelous breakfst that she had made on his birthday. Eline takes great pride in making your stay at her home very comfortable and was attentive to any needs that we had. Upon the morning of leaving she took our suitcases in her bike wagon up to the tram for us. We have stayed at many B & B's throughout the years and Eline is one of the most thoughtful and friendly hosts we have ever encountered. If you are traveling from Canada or the USA consider taking some NHL hockey cards for Elines husband, as he is a avid hockey fan and player. A modern contemporary luxury basement apartment. Huge bed that’s like sleeping on a cloud!! Free mini bar and a Nespresso coffee machine restocked daily. Superb location for exploring this amazing city. The owners could not be more helpful with providing helpful information and recommendations for restaurants, attractions, etc. My wife and I will definitely be back. Thanks to Eline & Mia.

Our hostess could not have been more helpful or more gracious, always on hand and providing a number of little extras either unexpected, as in chocolates, strawberries, a new coffee table book to greet us each evening and a fridge stocked with cold drinks and white wine; or asked for, as in fresh milk, extra nespresso capsules and help booking restaurant and finding museums. Not to mention on our departure, a bottle of water and bicycling in her large panier our luggage to the tram to the station!
