Sehr sauber, modern, ruhig und gute lage. Zur Fähre die zur Central Station führt braucht man zu fuß 18 min. Sonst ist das hotel sehr modern und sauber. Würde jederzeit dieses hotel wieder buchen. Nur der Tiefgaragen Stellplatz ist mit 25€ pro tag etwas teuer aber ich denke für Amsterdam doch noch gerechtfertigt.

I have no issue with the hotel itself- it was clean and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue is the limited transportation options there were around the hotel, it was very difficult to get to other sights or parts of the city due to lack of transportation around the hotel.

The man that checked us in seemed to be in a great hurry. The ck in desk is in an open public room. I told him we had signed up with Expedia and he nodded not looking at me. I did not know what we were being charge until he passed me a machine wit a $800 bill to sign. I did not think that was the agreed upon amount. He had put us in the top floor which was not what we signed up for. I thought I would ck when we got home and we’re not so tired to see where the misinformation came from. I felt pressured and rushed. What information did Expedia give to the hotel? We were charged the agreed amount at candlewood. Can you let me know.

The hotel itself is very modern and clean. All staff is very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast they offer every morning It’s basic, but it does a trick, No complaints. I would definitely stay there again.

It was very comfortable but only having one lift working made it difficult to access rooms. In the morning we were packed in like sardines. This was very comfortable. A hotel of this size needs both lifts working. The menu was limited for evening meals. The fish was very grease (fish and chips).

We have 2 days advanced booking prior to our tour we arrived April 13. The hotel is fully booked, they cancelled my reservations. A day before we flown i called the customers service re credit card error in charging she said dont worry it will be charged upon arrival. I even offered to her that i will send another card details but the reply is dont worry we will reserve the room for you. But upon check-in the girl on the counter said it was cancelled. We spent another 250 euros just for the taxi looking for another hotel.

When we got to the hotel we found out our reservation had been cancelled as they had overbooked. We made this reservation back in January of 2024. They transferred us to another hotel faraway from where we wanted to be. Now we will have to pay for a taxi to take us back to the area we wanted to be in. Not sure what is going on?

There were stains on our bed, our toilet kept getting stuck on flushing so it was loud all night, and I was told I couldn’t have breakfast (which was included, and my friends were able to get for free) and told I had to pay. I had to go bike to another place to get breakfast because the employee told me it “wasn’t free today”.

It would be great if the hotel could provide a way to get closer to the ferry station, is kind of 15-20mins walk that sometimes can be overwhelming, nevertheless the location is great and the staff is really kind and helpful

Das Hotel ist für Touristen gut gelegen. Die Zimmer sauber und das Frühstück okay. Also grundsätzlich für Städte-Urlaub in Ordnung; aber für uns gab es ein großes, unverzeihliches Erlebnis, wodurch wir das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen. Es gab morgens einen Feueralarm - soweit so gut, also über die Fluchttreppen nach draußen mit den meisten anderen Gästen. Aber dann begann das Chaos! Kein einziger Mitarbeiter des Hotels hat die Gäste koordiniert, im Inneren wurde sogar fleißig weiter Frühstück gegessen, Wäschecontainer gewechselt und keine Information an uns frierende Menschen gegeben. Nach 15Minuten gingen die ersten Gäste über die Fluchttreppen wieder in ihre Etagen (während der Alarm weiter schrillte)… nach 40Minuten konnte der Fehlalarm beendet werden und alle strömten zurück: Mein Fazit: In diesem Hotel hat kein einziger Mitarbeiter einen Verhaltenskodex bei Feueralarm. Was wäre gewesen, wenn es ein echter Alarm gewesen wäre? Woher hätte man gewusst, dass alle Menschen draußen sind? Wär hätte gehbehinderten Menschen in diesem engen Treppenhaus geholfen? Wo ist ein Sammelpunkt? Da dieser Sicherheitsaspekt für mich oberste Priorität hat, kann ich das Holiday Inn Express North Riverside NICHT EMPFEHLEN!! Schade.

Die Unterkunft an sich war Top. Störend war, dass der zweite Aufzug in unserem Gebäude defekt war und man deshalb in den Stoßzeiten, z.B. morgens beim Frühstück ewig warten musste. In niedrigeren Stockwerken mag die Treppe eine Alternative sein, allerdings nicht wenn man im 13. Stock sein Zimmer hat.

The views from this hotels bedrooms are exceptionally stunning @night.!The landscape transforms into beautiful silhouettes of lights.You cant resist staring spellbound from the comfort of your bed.Yes.!The floor to ceiling windows are a marvel.Their breakfasts choices are gr8 as they cater for the gluten free & vegans.There is basically something for everyone.You wont feel left out.Plus its all delicious.The customer service of the concierges.Especially Gerald & Alex was exceptional.Ask for them if you visit.They go above & beyond for you.John the maitre d(Express morning breakfasts)is hilarious & charming.He will make your mornings.The 24/7 free ferry will save you a fortune in taxi fare.As the hotel is a walkable 10-15 mins from the ferry drop on & off.of centraaal station.Its safe as i walking around at 3am in the morning alone with no issues.The rooms are spacious with a modern twist.with usual amenities tea,coffee/iron& ironing board.cleaning is exceptional on a day 2day basis & as a IHG member you earn points by going green(if u dont hv ur room cleaned every day).which is a good incentive to earn points for future stays.From the overall ambience of this location.This hotel will be the GO TO place once the ongoing road works are finished.I'm glad i chose to stay there.You wont regret it.

Hotel moderne, près de la gare à pied, près du ferry gratuit pour se rendre en ville. Petit déjeuner très varié. Parking sur place payant à la journée (même après check-out). Hôtel à recommander.

The location worked for us. It has nice separation from the downtown tourist & shopping area but also allows for easy access to the same, as well as Central Station, grocery stores & restaurants.
