Cozy hotel in nice neighbourhood near city centre
The hotel was cozy, with nice staff, especially Sanjay was THE man. The room was spacy enough for 3 persons, with recently renovated bathroom. The stairs are narrow and steep, so if you have problems with your knees or legs this is not for you. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, no disturbing nightlife, not far from the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. You can easily walk in to the very centre of the city. Brrakfast was good to a reasonable price. I highly rrcommend this hotel.

Location is great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast ok and you could pre-order it for 7,5€ which is a fair price. Bed was very comfortable. Lift and corridors were small/narrow, as well as the sink in the single room, never seen a sink that tiny in a hotel, you could barely fill your glass in it.

Perhehuoneen sisustus vanhanaikainen. Pesuaineet minipulloissa (1 per hlö), eikä niitä annettu lisää, vaikka viivyimme 4 yötä. Käytävät ja portaat ahtaat ja hieman pahanhajuiset, mutta huone siisti ja puhdas. Hyvä sijainti. Aamupala kallis ja vaatimaton hintaansa nähden.

Positiivinen kokemus
Kokonaisuudessaan positiivinen yllätys! Isäntä hieman yrmeä tapaus... Ei taida asiakaspalvelu olla verissä. Olin yhden hengen huoneessa, pieni niinkun tiedossa olikin. Huone todella siisti ja etenkin wc/suihku yllätti todella positiivisesti. Sijainti todella hyvä... Ei ihan keskustan hälinässä mutta aivan vieressä. Aamupala ok, ei hienouksia mutta nälän sai pois. Suosittelen kyllä!

A nice stay at Jupiter Hotel
The room was small, but clean and nicely decorated. The bed was perhaps a bit too soft for my liking. The room and the bathroom with shower was cleaned every day. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was situated perfectly near Leidseplein. The bus nr 197 from Schiphol airport stops nearby. You better pay the room in cash because they charge extra 4 % if you pay with credit card. If I was going to Amsterdam again I would certainly consider staying at Jupiter Hotel.

Mukava pikku hotelli
Todella tyytyväinen hinta /laatu tasoon. Hotellissa kapeat ja jyrkät portaat, mutta mielestäni se vain lisäsi hotellin paikallista hollantilaista piirrettä. Henkilökunta avuliasta muttei tunkeilevaa. Aamulla hieman asikkaiden aiheuttamaa kolinaa kuului. Alue rauhallinen, vaikkakin lähellä mm.kanavaristeily lähtö, hardrock cafe, 9 kadun ostos ja kahvila alue ja museo kortteli. Helpot ratikka yhteydet ja helposti airport bussilla lentokentälle. Kaiken kaikkiaan voin suositella, jos vain kelpaa alla 5 tähden hotellit.

Yhdenhengenhuone todella pieni, sänky vielä pienempi. Suihkutilaan ei ovea. Seinät paperia. Tähän rahaan löytyy paljon parempia yöpymis mahdollisuuksia. Aamiainen ihan ok.

We stayed at the family studio, it was clean, bright and warm. The stairs are very steep so had to take care with that. Well located for Vondelpark and the museums. Dining options within walking distance too. Overall, a great stay in Amsterdam.

My stay in Amsterdam
Staff was helpful, the place is located in very good area however they should be more organized. If you don’t request, they don’t provide water after room cleaning. It should be default and they should be putting water to the room everyday. Coffee is nice at the reception. Cookies are very delicious.

The place is very accessible to public transportation and is still in the middle of Amsterdam. The place is clean, staff is friendly and accommodating. The area is close to some tourist attractions and is accessible to other places of interest within the area. I will recommend this place to those who travel light since they do not have the lift or elevator in the property.

Die Lage ist einfach Top, kurzer Fußweg zum Leidsplein, Rijksmuseum oder Vondelpark. Gute Anbindung des öffentlichen Verkehrs. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Kleines Minus, es ist hellhörig. Auch Lärm von der Straße und feiernde Menschen konnte man bis 0 Uhr verstärkt wahrnehmen. Mein Zimmer war zur Straße hin. Mit Ohrstöpsel störrt das nicht weiter. Zum Zimmer, hatte ein Einzelzimmer. Das ist schon sehr klein aber ausreichend. Sauberkeit war gut und es wurde täglich gereinigt. Trotz der Größe war ein eigenes Bad vorhanden. Kann mir vorstellen in Zukunft wieder im Hotel Jupiter zu. buchen.

It seems that you mixed up Hotels, Starting July werenewed pillows and blankets which we do 2 times in the Year...Old one's are goiing to red kruis.and for the stairs, which are Normall here in Holland, you could have taken the elevator

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, nicht zu nah, aber auch nicht zu weit weg vom Zentrum. Nach 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß ist man direkt im Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sauber und relativ modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und der Ablauf sehr unproblematisch. Lediglich zwei Punkte haben ein wenig gestört, die Wände waren recht hellhörig und die Betten sehr weich. Dennoch im Rahmen für ein längeres Wochenende.

Does the job
We enjoyed our stay, it definitely did the job. The decor is a bit odd, very much outdated. The bathroom was clean but the bedroom was heavily dusty around all edges. We booked a double bed but it was two twin beds pushed together, with no connector to keep them as one. Location is VERY good, for walking and using the tram. Lovely area, very quiet and there is a lidl just around the corner (perfect for cheap morning pastries). We had no troubles with noise or security. Beds were comfy and the temperature of the room was good. I think the location of the hotel makes up for what the room lacks. We didn't have breakfast there as it seemed expensive.

Good, but just not good enough.
The pros: Clean hotel in a good location. Comfortable beds The cons: Surge charge of 4% on all credit and debit cards that isn't a maestro No coffee available in the rooms, only a pay for coffee machine in reception. No aircon or fan in the rooms

Excelente ubicación y buen trato del staff, muy limpio y cómodo. Sin duda volvería a ese hotel. Lo único malo es que no cuenta con elevador, cuando OJO, Expedia muestra el elevador entre los servicios de este hotel, y demás está decir lo difícil que es bajar maletas en las escaleritas holandesas. 😓

Good location in a sidestreet, but easy to find. Kindly, helpfull service. The hotel is old, but have an elevator. You hear the neighbour's in the next room very good, wait for warm water in the shower and safe cost 2 euro each day for rent.
