”The location is good. The public areas were really small and the general feel for the hotel is that it is s 3 star hotel trying to be 4 star hotel. Not very much value for the money, so next time in London I will not come to Mandeville hotel to pay extra because of the location. The air in our room was stuffy, and tobacco smelled from somewhere which was strange. The personnel was friendly but some of them very inenperienced. ”
”The service was exceptional. On the second morning I was woken by the sounds of construction taking place in the room above mine. It went on for hours. When I informed the staff at reception, with my permission they moved my things to a suite while I was out. I was traveling alone so the suite wasn't essential, but I appreciated the gesture. All of the staff was very kind and welcoming. A steak ordered from room service at 2 AM exceeded expectations. A great experience overall. ”

"I arrived early and the check in was ok at first. Later when I came back to receive my room key I didn’t like the way the the situation was handled. The receptionist didn’t communicate at all, I didn’t know what was happening. Hotel at this level should be very customer friendly and that was not the situation here.
The room was on the lowest level and I didn’t really see anything from the window, so I kept the curtains shut all the time.
The AC was broken on the last evening of my stay and the room was freezing cold.
Since this is a 5-star luxury hotel and at this price, I think they have a lot to improve. There is a lot of better options in London at this price level."
