Convenient location
Great starting point to adventures in Anchorage. Neighborhood a little rough. No fault to owners. The place was cute. Minor things like bathroom door didn't work properly, loud fridge. Overall, it was a convenient starting point

Great 2 bedroom/2 baths for 2 couples traveling around Alaska by car. Easy access to airport/downtown and out of Anchorage for day trips.

Just right for a party of 4
The location makes it easy to tour the city. We were able to easily access the points of interest (offered by The Trolley Tour) on our own and have many dining options. Having two bathrooms made it easy for everyone to start and end our days. It was lovely sitting outside until the sun set at 11:30pm. Close to the airport, too.

Good for the price.
The location was definitely good. Close to downtown and easy to get to roads when heading out. The house was clean. It seems weird to complain about this but we were actually hot and the fans weren’t enough to mitigate the heat. The neighborhood looked run down but it was quiet.

Perfect spot to explore anchorage
We stayed a few nights prior to taking train to Seward to jump on a cruise. We enjoyed this place. Beds were comfy. Kitchen well stocked with lots of supplies, spices etc if you want to cook.

Great use for a home base.
My family and I stayed at the location for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience in the clean house. There was enough space for us to spread out. Katie was wonderful with getting details and answering my questions in a very quick manner. The home had everything that we needed without having to go out and purchase basic items. It was also close to major roadways to get us to our day trips without much of a hassle. Would definitely love to stay here again should we ever find ourselves back in Anchorage.

Supply too little but ask too much
The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. We rented a unit with 2-bedrooms and 2-baths. Overall, we are fine with the property. But my friends who occupied Room#1 complained that the host did not provide some essential supplies: body wash, soap, etc. The shampoo bottle has shampoo in it but won’t come out when he pressed it. We noticed that there were no additional trash bags and no paper napkins. However, the hosts asked guests to 1) sweep floors, 2) remove linens from the bed, 3) clean and put away clean dishes, 4) pile up laundry in bathroom…at departure. We thought that the hosts was asking too much from their guests.

Very clean & neat condo. All what you need in a kitchen although cutlery needs upgrade scissors will be great. Extra blankets, all needed food like flour, corn starch, teas, coffees , other kitchen essentials are thought of. No noise, windows easy to open fir fresh air. 4-5 miles radius to Asian groceries, restaurants & airport. Lovely condo for what we needed.

The owner, Katie, was very nice and easy to connect with. Everything was great, but the only thing that I guess you can say needed attention was the televisions were not working very well. Also I think the bedrooms needed black out curtains for the the months that is light 24/7. Besides that everything else was fine.

Great Place!
Great little place in Anchorage! My family and I stayed here and loved the house and location. Just a short drive to downtown and plenty of stuff to walk to (coffee shops, bookstore, grocery store, playgrounds). Hosts were great with communication and recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing.

This condo was a little slice of heaven conviently located near everything in Anchorage! The yard was especially nice, with well kept green grass and an awesome fire pit, I could have stayed all summer long.

It was very comfortable, the owners were very accommodating.
The following are just constructive observations, in hopes of improving someone else experience. We were in the city due to our sons death and were there not to vacation, therefore we spent alot of time in the condo. Here are our observations: our bed had a rail that kept coming off, in our bedroom the TV needed an antenna and DVD player didn't work, the main TV and player only had about 3 and sometimes 4 channels that mostly had infomercials. Basic cable would be a plus, the coffee maker didn't work we bought one and left it for the next tenant. The condo was basically clean, yet the floors weren't swept or the mats vaccum, it needs to be clean and dusted behind the furniture and the doors needed dusting, I suffer from asthma and one of my triggers is dust, therefore that is something I notice, where others may not. Overall we had a pleasant experience the airport, downtown, food stores, restaurants all were nearby, it was very well located for our needs and we definately recommend this place.

Bruce we are very sorry for your loss. I understand it was a very difficult time for your family. I wish you would have brought these issues to our attention during your stay. We would never expect a client to replace anything. If we knew the coffee maker wasn’t working we would have immediately replaced it. I am also not aware of the bed rail coming off. I assure you we vacuum and swifter the unit between each stay. Also, there is an antenna in the unit you might have needed to rerun the channels for programming. We were also never aware or told that the DVD player wasn’t working. These are all things that could have been taken care of if you would have made us aware.

Wonderful apartment and location!
First of all, Josh and Katie were great to work with. Responded quickly to my messages and went above and beyond with coordinating my father’s separate arrival and helping him get settled. Katie even let me know that he arrived safely while I was still traveling! The apartment was great...clean, had plenty of room for the two of us, and would comfortably accommodate 4 or 5 people. The two bathrooms are a huge plus! Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked in it daily. The location made everything we wanted to do accessible. It was easy to go North or South for sightseeing and with its midtown location, we were able to explore Anchorage a little bit at a time each day. The location near the airport is an extra plus and only rarely did we hear an airplane. You won’t regret staying here!

Excellent Apartment in Anchorage
I spent 2 very comfortable days in the apartment during July with my husband and 3 older daughters. The apartment was conveniently located in a residential area between the airport and downtown Anchorage, with shops and restaurants close by. It was well furnished, had a wonderful bbq area and firepit to relax by in the evenings and had everything we required for our stay in Anchorage. Would be happy to return if in Anchorage again.

This place is perfect! Just a few miles outside downtown, it's super easy to get to and in a great little neighborhood. The unit is the downstairs level of the house, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and a cute little dining nook. Everything was just as described And we loved having this as our home base on our Alaska girls trip adventure! Thanks Josh and Katie for opening your home up to us and being great hosts!

We only needed to stay for 2 nights before moving on to the second part of our vacation in Seward. The home was in a convenient area for shopping, restaurants and the airport. The owners were extremely helpful in suggesting things to do. I would recommend this rental!

Great place, great price!
We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. The bathrooms were well maintained and there were a lot of nice touches. My wife loved the decorations and I loved the fact that a lot of the basic necessities, like toilet paper and paper towels, extra towels and dish soap and hand soap and shampoo, you get the drift. Much appreciated since most people will be flying in and you can't get all that stuff on a plane. The beds were really comfortable and the linens were top notch. The owners were friendly and generous. Thanks for a great week

Clean, tidy home away from home
My husband and I wanted to get away for a ski weekend at a local resort but didn't want to pay resort room prices. The owners were the perfect hosts...available enough to answer questions and refer us to the happenings around town. It snowed on us our 1st night there, but the sidewalk was swept and our car was even dug out so we could get on the road to the resort (with directions) without delay. The condo was clean clean clean and very comfortable with quick and easy access to everything we needed for our stay in Anchorage. Our next trip will be longer and we'll definitely book here again. Thank you so much!!
