”It's an older hotel with basic amenities. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable enough. For the price, it's pretty good especially its strategic location with the free shuttle stops nearby. ”We had a great stay here! Although I do recommend changing your picture on Expedia to something else so people don’t think they are getting that cute mini cabin(false advertising), one other thing I have to mention is the check out time! Understandable that it’s 10 am, but when there’s no employees on site to assist with minor issues (we left a bag in the room and had to card/break in) then there’s no need to have it be at 10am. ”While the surrounding properties were typical in Fairbanks, the accommodations at North Star were great. The owners were attentive, reaching out throughout my stay, to make sure all was well.
