Stayed for two nights during cataract surgery appointments. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Taxi service was very quick. There were restaurants and a market within walking distance. All in all a decent place, reasonable rate.

I love how quiet it was, only no trash was picked up in the 5 days I was there, constantly had to ask for towels every day, my key had to constantly be fixed after going up to 3rd floor. But overall stay was good.

The staff is not freindly, nor welcoming. The unpersonalized breakfast service, and charging extra for it is a no go for me. Clean yes, odd business practices than most hotels. Would not stay again. If you want blah people, and hands off service, this might be your place.

This is a very noisy hotel. Not the guests necessarily, but the building is constructed in a way where it's just noisy. I wasn't near the stairs, but the noise from upstairs and the stairs was really annoying. I would have preferred single serve coffee with decaf options, but only a full pot was available. The bed was really comfortable. The first night was really windy and the windows made a lot of noise. The worst thing wasn't the hotel's fault. After seeing the condition of the property, I decided to move, but since I had prepaid with Expedia, I was stuck there all weekend. I'll never book with Expedia again due to this. There were no options, so the beware is that if you come upon a property that doesn't meet your needs, then you are stuck with it if you book at Expedia. I dealt with it, but I won't again.

Decent place, needs some minor maintenance, the heater/cooling fan was very noisy, the tub faucet was very loose (nearly non-functional). Good bed and nice recliner. Kitchen area has no dishes or utensils.

The hotel is in a great location for our trip. Always very clean, beds comfortable, heating/cooling system works great and it has self cooking kitchens available. In a quiet area, in walking distance to shopping, theather, and a few resturants.

Enjoyed our stay
I have stayed with the My Place Hotel before and had no problems but friendly workers there, and all the staff is helpful and courteous. Hoping to stay for more days in the future.

Enjoyed stay with friendly staff, i liked the location of middle town of anchorage. So close to stores either direction, towards downtown or towards the south anchorage area.
