”Nice, boutiqueish hotel. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and a character leading breakfast. Leading is the correct word as there is no buffet, and you get the food and beverage only in the order she orders. Consider it a show. We had the suite on the top-floor which was great except that the public balcony is right next to it and people sit there drinking late which does not fit well with jet lag. Despite the glitchy, worth the money.”

”This is a very colonial era hotel, beautiful decor and ambience. The location is not bad, night time is a bit scary to go out. The room we had was nice, it was on the first floor. We really enjoyed the garden terrace and the rooftop terrace with a nice view. Breakfast was included and made fresh for you. It would have been nice if all the staff were bilingual in speaking English. Despite the language barrier all the staff were very accommodating, pleasant and friendly. We want to give a shout...

”Staff was great although it was challenging as I don’t speak Spanish. The apartment was clean but the view from the room was obscured by the metal grill which was a disappointment, I understand Candeleria is not a safe area at night so it is necessary. ”
