”Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. Johan was the front desk guy/manager and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony offered a spectacular view of the river and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend La Cas Verde!”

”Great stay! Stayed 6 nights and Hernan fed us a traditional Ecuadorian breakfast every morning and gave useful and meaningful suggestions for where to go and what to see each day. Thoroughly enjoyed "Tenderness" by Oswald Guayasamin and eating at "La Vid". Hernan made the reservation and got us a table that looked out across Independence Square at the Cathedral. I recommend timing dinner with the sunset and the lighting up of the Cathedral. Hotel was easy walking distance to everything in...

”This beautiful place is right in town (across from the bus station) on a quiet street and easy walk to main street and all its offerings. We stayed in the apartment style room, very clean, spacious and everything for stay in cooking or just making coffee and sitting on the little patio. Ronny the owner took great care of us, cooked a yummy breakfast with a choice to have delivered to your room or on the upstairs patio. Did all our laundry for a great price. I would stay here again if visiting...

”The electrical outlets are old so it is hard to charge devices , it is very clean and has antique charm they made us feel safe . There is more than 2 floors and this affected us getting the room needed because I was not able to climb stairs the water had great pressure but hardly was hot at all ”

”Caesar and Hermana, the couple who run this hotel went above and beyond in their efforts as hosts. They are very sweet people who will help you in any way that they can. At the end of my trip. they took me to the Old Quito Aeroport to catch the bus to the New Aeroport and charged me a very reasonable price. Senora Hermana went inside with me to make sure I got my ticket and I got on board the bus. I was by myself, but the next time I come to Quito, I'll be with my husband and we will always...

”The hotel is a beautiful old house with a lot of character. The personnel was really helpful and nice, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very clean and there was hot water in the shower. There was wifi and also a laptop for public use in the lounge area. Free tea and fruit and/or cake available all day. The hotel is located about 10 blocks from the main plaza, which didn't bother us, but I wouldn't recommend walking there alone at night.”
