”The staff was very polite, helpful and accommodating. The poor rating is directly related to my experience in the all male dorm rooms. This is not a hiker/traveler hostel. This is a flop house for people down on their luck with no place else to stay for the night. This is not the hotel’s fault as they cannot properly screen their guests without practicing some form of discrimination, it is just the inevitable result of the format. Cheap beds in a gentrified area along a major highway.”

”We normally stay at the Comfort Suites in the Denver Tech Area but wanted to cut down on daily trip driving to Breckenridge. I’m so glad we did. This is a very clean hotel, the breakfast was great and had a good spread. My kids enjoyed the waffle machine. We had no issues getting more towels for our room and they were very prompt with everything. We will be definitely staying here next year instead of in Denver.”

”Our third stay in the last 6 weeks because it was so hot in Denver. Very dog friendly hotel with treats at the front desk. 10 minute walk to the Dillon Marina, 15-30 minute drive to Frisco and Breck. One of the elevators was out of service but not that big of a deal. It does suck that you have to pay for parking though ($16 a night; you’re not Las Vegas.) Breakfast was ok as they’ve never had bacon at any of our stays for the free breakfast provided. Stayed on third floor with nice view. ...

”No air conditioning. Had a fan in the window that sort of worked getting the room cooled down. The windows were in the front of the room so is you had them open along with the curtains to get fresh air there was no privacy. Greeted (sort of) with an impatient gentleman. Left with no acknowledgement by the front desk young lady….she was on her cell and didn’t look up or say anything like “thank you”. Beds were great. Pillows and linens very fresh and clean. Breakfast was nice.”

”No extra toilet paper was stocked in the restrooms and the back door was left unlocked all night. Staff was mostly friendly, although sometimes it was hard to find someone. I’m not a big breakfast person so I just ate toast. It did look good though… also the hot tub felt good, but you have to deal with the cover yourself. It states it’s only open from 4 to 11 but the front desk clerk said I could use it anytime.”
