”There is really not much there - just the beds in the room. But it was clean and nice. Good value for money.”

”When we checked in late at night we immediately had to kill some small insects in the room. Not a huge deal, we are near the beach. Then there was no shower gel in the shower to wash with. We just used shampoo instead. Also there was hair in the shower and sink. Lastly we noticed there was no tv remote anywhere. After looking we called the front desk who didn’t know what to do so asked us to hold and then hung up. After we called back we were hung up on again. Then a different representative...

”We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This Surf Club offers some useful extra amenities, there is an ice machine and water cooler near the pool. The water cooler was especially helpful since the tap water is not very tasty. There is also a bathroom and shower near the pool which came in handy when our grandkids were swimming. We stay a lot in Dewey this is the only hotel that offered beach/pool towels. Only negative is no balcony everything...

”No big issues. Probably more personal but for one I wish they would buy better sheets. I’m not asking for 1000 count sheets, but these were all peeled and I literally could not sleep on them. They were scratching my legs all night. Also it’d be nice if there was a blanket on the bed, nobody uses the comforter that’s on the bed because that never gets changed from guest to guest, but you would like a blanket even a lightweight one and ask for the toiletries. I know it’s costly to purchase that...

”The staff here is AMAZING! I will start with that. But I have stayed in nicer/cleaner hotels. Not the hotels fault but our room always smelled like weed because I guess people around us were smoking. The rooms were also a little outdated and the furniture was a bit tore up. But great location! Just not sure I would stay here again for the value or recommend to friends/family”

”Uninterested staff. No milk left and coffee ran out. No one interested in replacing them so breakfast was dry flakes and some toast. Very disappointing service”

”Loved the location in a quiet residential area away from the crowds. Definitely the most pet friendly place we have stayed without having to give up the luxuries you often do for a pet friendly stay. The dogs are even pampered with bowls, towels and treats! Perfect area to walk them along the canal across the street from the inn. Within walking distance to the main street and great restaurants. Definitely will be returning now that we have found this gem!”
