"La Casita" Beautiful, Elegant Florida Cottage, 1 Minute Walk to the Beach!

Nestled in beautiful tropical landscaping, this 2 bed, 2 bath beach cottage vacation rental blends simple elegance with a prime location, just steps from the gorgeous Gulf sands of Anna Maria Island!

While the décor sets a soothing tone from the minute you step foot inside, there are surprising and colorful touches throughout the home. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind from the demands of the day-to-day, with two sitting areas, a shady outdoor seating space, and a screened lanai.

But the best part just might be around the corner, a one-minute walk away – the famous white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island! Positioned North of Pine Avenue, these beaches are the least crowded and, in our humble opinion, all the more beautiful for it.

Back at the house, you’ll have all the necessities for a comfortable stay, including WiFi, cable TV, beach towels, and cozy bed and bath linens. There are two bedrooms - one with a king bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, the other with two twin beds – plus a queen sleeper sofa, allowing up to six guests to decompress and reset by living the Island life.

You’ll want to return to this La Casita sooner than later, just try it and see!

La Casita is owned by a family of Island-lovers, excited for others to fall in love just as they have. The current photos were taken in 2022 to showcase the hard work they put in to polish and update this adorable beach cottage, inside and out. The kitchen was updated in August 2023 and now includes a dishwasher and full size smooth top electric range.

Please note that pets are not allowed in this rental.

Special thanks go to the Anna Maria General Store, where you can purchase the LOLA wine used for staging in the photos, and Hometown Desserts, who provided those gorgeous cookies used in the kitchen photos. Both are located on Pine Avenue, not far from La Casita.

Ein hübsches und typisches Florida Beach House wenige Gehminuten vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und bietet wirklich alles, was man benötigt. Es war sauber und die Kommunikation mit der Vermietungsagentur zuverlässig.

La Casita was a fabulous place to stay. Very close to the beach and to all the shops and coffee shops on Pine street. We loved the Old Florida vibe of the house. It was so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was provided beach chairs, umbrella, all kitchen supplies , laundry facilities, an abundance of fluffy towels. We either biked or walked everywhere.

We enjoyed our stay at La Casita so much! Very clean and so cute inside! The host was quick to respond to my questions. You could not ask for a better location - far enough up the island that you’re away from the busyness, yet still a nice walking distance to Pine Ave and a 1 min walk to the beach would definitely stay again in the future!

Perfect Beach Cottage

This property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and organized. The beds were comfortable. The location is steps to the beach. Nice beach chairs were available and we enjoyed the outdoor living area. We hope to stay at this location in the future. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at this adorable cottage! We enjoyed dinners at the Porch, Pizza Social and the Sand dollar. While parts of the island are recovering our stay was perfect!

Some lights don't work in the dining room, I didn't find any power outlets in the master room. But the house is cute and the decoration is cozy. The house should have more beach umbrellas , it only has one, more entertainment such as a paddle board, a domino game and ping-pong table, etc. Thank you

Terrific location, well appointed cottage

We enjoyed our stay in "La Cassita". The location is perfect - easy access to the beach and an easy walk to Pine Street. The kitchen and master bathroom are nicely updated and the bedrooms are comfortable. Unfortunately we had a very rainy cold week so we were not really able to sit on the beach - got a couple of beach walks in when there was a brief hour or two without rain; but the cottage was still very comfortable and pleasant even on rainy days, and the local restaurants were fine. We especially like the "laid back" vibe and friendliness of Anna Marie Island.

Close to the beach

The house is as advertised - it’s a cute clean house. Great location to the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood. Appears that the master shower had been recently updated. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are not supplied. There are beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, a few sand toys and beach cart to haul things back and forth. There is not a cooler for the beach, however there is a nice plastic handled basket we improvised with by putting a plastic grocery bag in it filled with ice. The outside area has nice seating and table area, however there are no lights to enjoy the area after dark as the outside lights are motion activated. A few rope lights on the tree or fence would be a great addition to enjoy the space. For those that like to cook, there are no spices or oil etc. However the kitchen is nicely stocked (no coffee grinder) and the pots and pan set is of good quality. The kitchen has dish soap, dishwasher tablets and trash bags. We’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property

The property is well maintained. About 2-3min walk to the beach. It is still the original Charme of Anna Maria. It is fully equipped and we did miss nothing. The property is perfect to spend a vacation on the beach. Thank you.

Amazing location and cutest house!

We three traveled to AMI to celebrate our cousin’s 40th birthday. Let me start by saying the location of this house was PERFECT. It was less than a minute walk to the beach, nearby restaurants, groceries and shopping, and we walked to Bean Point as it was only half a mile away! (got super lucky and saw the bioluminescence!) The interior and exterior are set up great and the backyard was bigger than I expected. The kitchen was recently renovated and everything was new including a dishwasher and all other appliances. Beds are comfy and the master bathroom is amazing. The second bathroom is small and we were two women getting ready but the lighting in the living room is perfect so we took a mirror in there to get ready when needed. We walked to the beach daily and the path to get there is easily accessible. We spent most of our beach days in that area because it’s not overcrowded like some of the other beaches. White sand, clear water and I saw a manatee while swimming! We would have liked a better beach cart (the one at the house had a garbage sack full of leaves so we didn’t mess with it) and we ended up buying a new umbrella and leaving it for the next renters. The only other thing we would have liked to have was a beach cooler but Publix had inexpensive travel coolers so we purchased one there. The house has tons of towels and beach towels which we appreciated. We definitely would rent this house again as it surpassed our expectations!!

Nice location to walk to the beach. Property could use updating, especially kitchen. Cooking utensils rusted, stove very old and didn’t try using it. Furniture cover and rugs very dirty with stains. Size of the house worked for us. Location and beach access best part of this property.

Great location just steps from the beach

This was a great little cottage just steps from a beach with much nicer sand than Holmes beach where we stayed last April. Pros: A/C worked great Beds were comfortable New washer and dryer Beach access A++ Beach Cart, Sand toys, chairs Areas for improvement: -King bed was made up with two standard pillows, and although there were extra pillows none had protector covers and there were no spare pillowcases. -The vacuum in the master bedroom closet was full of pet hair and when I used it the smell kinda permeated the air. This vacuum needs a good cleaning and air filters replaced. -Deck furniture was all dirty when we arrived, and I spent a couple of hours bleaching and scrubbing it. -The white Ikea couches had removable washable covers but looked a bit soiled. I cleaned loveseat couch cushion and it changed back to a more crisp white. -The house would be better with less nicknacks. There were shells everywhere in baskets, and other breakables easily reachable by children. We prefer clean and functional especially when traveling with our kids. -Beach stuff was great but a little worn out. The chairs and beach cart were rusted, and I feel like that stuff should be well maintained or replaced regularly. -Cleaning was a bit poor. Cleaners didn't clean under the bed in master, and when looking behind dresser in other room we saw lots of garbage from previous guests like tags from clothing etc.

Our stay at this lovely beach house was wonderful! From check in to check out everything went smooth. It was everything we expected and more. Cottage by the Beach

The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed for our week stay. Very convenient to the beach and other island attractions. Also very nice to have a gas grill for nice evenings of cooking out. Chairs and beach supplies came in very handy and very appreciated to have on hand. Also there wasn’t a dishwasher on site but everything mentioned that there was as well as dishwasher soap was also left for us that didn’t need to be left. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this. Maybe in the future label light switches and also adjust motion light for outside as it went off even while inside the cottage. All around we were very pleased with the cottage and great condition it was in and for our wonderful vacation. Thank you
