This house had everything you needed. It was very clean and comfortable.The modern kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook for an army of people. The kids (old and young) loved the third floor game room. The house is close to restaurants and bars and only minutes from Hershey Park where we spent the day on Saturday. The house is also pet friendly and our two dogs had plenty of space to roam and not get into trouble! Communication between Kyle and Ellen was extremely prompt and very professional. Bonus: the house was decorated for the holidays. It was a beautiful touch! I highly recommend this home and will consider it again next time we're up in Hershey.

The place is very nice and well cared for, with a decent array of options nearby. I have little negative to say but I do think it's important to point out that there seemed to be literally zero closets available to us. It didn't cause issues but it was confusing. If I'm incorrect about this I will gladly remove this part because even with that caveat it was a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay! Home was so well appointed truly surpassed any that we’ve ever stayed at. If you’re sensitive to city noises, the road noise is quite loud. However, sound machines are provided for each bedroom. Recommend earplugs if you’re sensitive. All the beds were comfortable except the mattress in the double bunk room. Game room on the third level was really fun and very well appointed. Wonderful stay. Thanks so much for offering this property!

The outside property was cute and lots of amenities. The inside while decorated nicely was a bit unsatisfactory. I paid a cleaning fee to show up and find blood on my bed pillow, dirty and smelly mop heads left in the washer rendering the washer unusable as it needed disinfected to get rid of the smell. The toasters that we thought didn’t work were kind of grungy and dirty. The outlets they were plugged into didn’t work. I had planned on a bagel bar for my group for breakfast but this issue kind of blew that out of the water and money and time was wasted on groceries and trying to figure out why the toasters didn’t work. Probably not a good idea to plug 2- 4 slot toasters into the same outlet in an old house with old wiring and then deny access to the breaker box. Also, there seems to be an issue with sink flies or gnats….they were bad on both bathrooms. Shower curtain liner upstairs needed to be replaced as it had some mold or something on the bottom and this has been reported by other guests on VRBO ratings. Traffic was incredibly loud but I should have read the reviews about this and downstairs bed is like sleeping on a cinder block. It was so hard! It really was a disappointing stay and I don’t feel I should have been charged a cleaning fee since the house wasn’t very clean to begin with.

We came into town from Arizona and Michigan to gather as a family and have a dew days at Hershey Park!!Great time plenty to do and see! We loved the location and accommodations! We had plenty of room for 13. Walked to dinner a few times explored the cute neighborhood too!

Family gathering for a funeral

This property was great! It allowed for my entire family (3 generations) and our dog to come together and stay in the area for the funeral of our mom/grandma/great grandma. It was really nice that the home catered to all of the generations and allowed us to be together to console each other and share memories/laughs. The home was gorgeous clean comfy and convenient. We walked to a great coffee shop together each morning, had snores out by the fire pit and were close to the funeral home and grave side for the day of the service. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic family and friends stay

We had a really wonderful stay with plenty of room for our large group of friends. The game room was really fun for the kids and the adults when the kids went to bed. The dining room fit everyone so nicely. I really enjoyed the historic elements of the house. The house was clean. We were able to get into the house early with communication between the owners. We appreciated that. We walked to a nice restaurant that also accommodated our large group in a private room, The Rotunda. It was very close to Hersheypark and Troeggs too. It was nice to have the gates up in the yard to let the dogs out too.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious property with a well stocked kitchen, really appreciated how many utensils, plates and cups were available. Easy and convenient parking. Everyone had a great time & enjoyed the house, would recommend!

We loved the house and the adorable town. It was on a main street - which is also a minor highway. So there was a lot of road noise that made sleeping with littles a bit difficult. But nothing a white noise machine didn't solve!

Great house!

We came with 3 other families, including 8 kids, and really enjoyed the property. It was kept up well and very spacious. It’s a great location, we went to Hershey park and Troegs and appreciated how close they were. The host was very quick to reply when we asked a question . Would definitely return again!

Okay, needs improvement

Overall, it was okay. The host was easy to communicate with, parking was great, and they allowed us to check in one hour early. The house however, specifically the second floor was not cleaned well. We paid a hefty cleaning fee and so should have at the very minimum checked into a house that was clean. The rugs had nail clippings and nearly all were stained. The shower curtains (in both bathrooms) were old and stained and needed to be replaced. They left out treats (which was a very nice gesture) but we discovered after some were eaten, they had all expired months prior. With some cleaning and new items, this could be a great stay. There’s also significant settling in the house, which is to be expected on a house this age, but that should be disclosed.
