”Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

The house is so close to downtown Hershey, the park, chocolate factory and other outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore all that Hersey has to offer. ”

”This was my first time using VRBO. The description of the property was exactly what it said. If you have a baby and young children they also provide baby beds, high chair, books and games. Great location to the surrounding farm land, shops and restaurants. The host were great. The cottage has a warm country feel. I would recommend staying there. ”

”It was good place to stay could see the park from the apartment would come back again when leaving there was a nice view of the sky and Hershey altogether would come back again!”

”Chika is a very gracious and communicative host! She was also accommodating and super friendly. The home itself fit the needs of our group for a one-night stay. There was plenty of room and the bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed. Chika even included toiletries that came in handy for some of us. ”The room was so warm and welcoming. Soft music playing when we entered offered a tranquil atmosphere. Supplies for roasting marshmallows and a Keurig with plenty of coffee was a nice touch. Mints on the bed, and a hand held massager was a relaxing treat. This place was a cute romantic stay. Location was awesome- in the country away from crowds. A yard view of an Amish working farm.The mattress could have been more comfortable and a blind on the skylight window over the bed would be nice too. But...

”Great location for Harrisburg area. Walkable to riverfront, restaurants, etc. Quaint home, great value. The only hitch was a front door difficult to open but manager responded quickly to assist.”

”We arrived to find no area to park. Area was terrible ! Every other home had surveillance cameras and beware of dogs signs. Neighborhood had litter strewn all about. I live and work in Detroit michigan so I know what a dangerous neighborhood looks like and this was extremely unsafe. I accept that I have to pay because I cancelled but I feel that I should not have to pay the cleaning fee because there was nothing to clean.
