The staff at this hotel are unfailingly helpful, polite and always available. The hotel is in a great spot, and is clean and safe and amenities at a level for a 3 star hotel. However: it's the noise. Not the hotel's fault, but the room vibrates with noise from before 8pm to 1am during the 4 weeknights we were there, we weren't there at a week end so I am not sure if it goes later. Then the cockerels start at 5am (again not the hotels fault). The second problem is the bedding - we had a sheet to sleep on and then a blanket to sleep under, we were cold and were asked if the ac worked. We said we wanted a sheet to put between us and the blanket and another blanket. We did get this - but then guess what as we got into bed after a day out on the last night, the house maid had taken blanket 2. So we turned the ac on to max and it didn't work - but at least the noise helped to drown out some of the live music. The bathroom's are a bit tired and dated and in need of a deep clean. Internet was fast. Bed linen and towels all clean. Pool a lot smaller than photos. So I am not really sure what the hotel can do about the noise (it is not just the noise of being in the old town as other places are quieter), but because of this I would not recommend or stay again.
