”What a lovely place. Sharing my experience in chronological order; no issues with communication with the owners as they are quick to respond and accommodating. Reaching the place could be a small challenge as the last 2 miles are unpaved. If you have a car with decent clearance (just no ricers slammed to the ground) it’s a little off-roading fun. I can tell a lot of TLC put on this place and is planned for it. What looked like a grow-your-own-food garden and landscaping with plants and...

”The cabin was lovely and bigger than expected for the price we paid. Everything was clean and organized. My favorite thing was the fenced backyard because we had our dog with us and he was able to run around freely. Communication was great and quick with the host.”

”It was a perfect little getaway weekend for two. Clean, comfortable beds in a cute, cozy cabin. We felt like we were in a tree house. Watched scrub jays in the treetops by day and bats under the starry night sky as the sun set from our vantage point in the jacuzzi. We didn't run into any hiccups at all. We were able to make the 3-point turn twice a day to park in our big Ford F150. A smaller car should have no trouble at all. We loved it. Wish we were still there!”

”La Petite was lovely, impeccably clean, and very tastefully decorated. The proximity to town is perfection. One note to those bringing a dog: the internal spiral staircase is narrow and could be treacherous from some dogs; our dog did not want to use it and even if she did, I wouldn't be comfortable with her using them to go downstairs. Fortunately, there is an outdoor staircase that leads to the bedroom/bathroom upstairs and that is what we used to take her upstairs at bedtime. It was...

”The esthetics and surrounding forest make this an ideal mountain get away! The property is clean and well appointed. The bed and furniture were comfortable. I was happily surprised to find a mini fridge and coffee maker. There is a working fireplace, which we took advantage of, as it was cool one evening. Good proximity to the Nature Center and downtown Idyllwild.”

”The house was exactly as described and clean. We had a small delay in one communication with host but they were very apologetic and responsive thereafter. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. And we loved that Idyllwild gave us the quiet 4th of July evening we needed.”

”WOW! This is my first review starting with this word! They home is magical, relaxing, the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and the most relaxation I have enjoyed in just 2 nights! From the fireplace and soaring ceilings, to the endless outdoor areas, this home is absolutely lovely. The decor is so interesting, everywhere you look there are little pieces of interest, from feathers to a bear skin. We were mezmorized by all of the details. Not to mention little gifts and even toothbrushes...
