”Booked on a whim for my birthday at the last minute. Loved everything about my stay. Friendly staff, warm and inviting, great indoor pool and hot tub. Room was big and clean. Quiet floor, cute gift shop, loved the firepits outside. The bar area was nice, we had drinks only but the food we saw come out looked good. About a 15 minute walk to the Island which we really enjoyed during this time of year. We will absolutely return.”

Front desk was awesome with my stay over (combining to reservations) pool was actually warm my grandson loved it! and hot tub was clean! ”This place was beautiful upon driving in to the parking lot. The exterior was clean & beautifully decorated. The lobby was amazingly breath taking with the Christmas decor being “tea!” Our rooms were immaculate and the view of the river right outside our balcony was the icing on the cake. I loved the free coffee/ hot chocolate station and popcorn each evening, as well as the hotel being in very close proximity to almost all the worthwhile attractions. ”The staff are excellent. We are anglophone but had not trouble - everyone wanted to help. When we arrived I came down with a violent flu and we could not go on. The staff were so helpful in extending our stay and getting my wife some coffee and food to tide her over outside restaurant hours. Tonight I just wanted some toast. Closed again - but my returned with toast - no charge - "Merry Christmas". We will always plan to stay here on our way to Ottawa. ”
