Taken on my way in to Applecross in March 2019
The beautiful beach at Applecross in Scotland which looks across to the Isle of Skye. The village was so remote that it didn't actually get electricity until 1955. We drove up and across the single mountain track to get here, the views were incredible and the final destination very worthwhile.

Will stay again.
Super nice place! Pretty much in the middle of nowhere (what we wanted) with stunning views when driving through the mountain pass. Brand new cabin with kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and toilet/shower. Got all info via email, how to get there and key lockbox code. Owners super nice!

Mark was a great host and the only drawback was getting there.....I was a rookie to the single track roads and we were in a very remote area....the accommodations were excellent ....quiet, view was spectacular,

Fabulous place to stay the view is amazing.Lovely cottage with everything you need.Beautiful garden with table and chairs to look at the view.Only negative was noise from the room above that woke me up.

Applecross to Torridon via Shieldaig Road. Definitely the scenic route. The fifty or so miles from Lochcarron over the Bealach Na Ba and up to Torridon via Shieldaig on a bicycle in February is not for the faint hearted. Looking ENE to the Torridonian Mountain Range.
