”Another great stay at the Crown & Garter. Friendly helpful check in & room was very comfortable & spotless as usual. Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients. Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise. Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area.”

”Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too. Just a couple of things less then perfect - tv is too small and the window stay was broken. We did get a good rate though so no complaints! Staff are friendly and efficient- breakfast was very good. The breakfast...

”We had a large clean room over looking the river. The bed was extra large and comfortable. The room has a good size en suite. Sleeping with the window open and hearing the water is very soothing. It's a nice walk into town along the town path. There is limited parking but it's free. Breakfast was very substantial and freshly cooked to order. The restaurant manager was very helpful and friendly. We plan to stay again soon. ”

”Beautiful boutique hotel - Restaurant next to the hotel is fantastic with award winning cuisine. Room over looking fields with a stunning bathroom. Bed was huge and so comfortable. Huge TV and lots of nice touches - Robert’s radio - IPad - bath robes - slippers - home cooked cookies the list goes on. I’ll definitely be staying again ”

Short walk to other sights (The Salisbury Museum, Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Stonehenge Tour Bus). Loved the nature and the medieval city all around. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely visit again.”
