”Best stay we have had in a long while”

”The cabin was cozy and efficient. It rained constantly so scenery was foggy and cloudy but Grand Lake was charming and the mountains over lakes were breathtaking. ”

”Very unique stay in a cabin. No AC, steps were not stable. Room was tiny but clean. Coffee in lobby was ok. Everything felt like an upsell. Bar tender made great drinks, though on the pricy side. Don't eat at the restaurant. Terrible service and good not worth the cost.”

”Rooms were clean and had a unique design then regular hotels. It’s an older but beautiful upgraded Mansion like place. Easy parking close to your room. Nice location on a hillside.”

”Someone had spilled burnt wood/charcoal (from what?) just outside my rooms door and the major pieces were mostly picked up but not vacuumed during my stay. My other concern was that I could not figure out how to get consistently warm water to take a shower. I don't think the listing prepared me for such a large facility I was thinking it would be more quaint so indications to the vast size would have help me make an informed decision. ( I am not a resort skier )”

”The rooms were great! The gym was also awesome. The hot tubs weren’t working which was a little bit of a bummer, but not a huge deal. The restaurant/bar also seemed to have weird hours, but there were plenty of other options in town. Overall my family loved it!”

”Wonderful place to stay in Winter Park! A small locally owned hotel. Very reasonable prices. The staff was excellent! The rooms are a very good size and very clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast! Not a hot breakfast, but had really good muffins and pastries. Not your typical hotel pastry.”

”A great place to base. Room is clean there is a kitchen fridge stove! But no utensils or plates. Beds are comfy. Rooms are spacious”

”Good place to stay. Big hotel. Staff always sits in the lobby as is expected for a hotel of this size. They got irons, ironing boards, steemers, tall mirrors and hairdryers in all rooms.”

”We always have a wonderful stay at the Canyon Motel! The staff is always helpful and will always help us accommodate a later check in”

”The room was large, clean and had a mini fridge which was helpful. The front desk gentleman was wonderful.”

”The place needs a complete renovation. The room, despite needing updated renovations was as clean as it could be. There is no air conditioning. I’m from TX and discovered that not many structures in CO have air conditioning, so I can’t hold that against them. It’s close to Grand Lake downtown just a few miles down the road. Management is not onsite and reticent to answer texts.”

”Good experience. Any issues were taken care of right away. It’s a perfect place for an overnight stay. Has the basics met. Not perfect. No ice, internet was sporadic but bed was comfortable.”
