”Excellent location to Cal Poly Humboldt. As well as stores and restaurants in McKinleyville. Nice amenities.Very dog friendly, they even had dog poop bags, such a nice touch. We could park in the garage, which we loved. Definitely will stay here again.”

”I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return.”

”House was great, with stellar views and an awesome yard! Would happily return. We used it as a great home base for a trip to Redwood Parks. One comment - the beach is not walking distance, it is a short drive to a state park (with entrance fee) to get to the closest beach. Thanks for helping make a great stay!”

”We loved our stay at this vacation rental! It was comfortable, quirky in the best way, clean, and close to everything we needed. The home was well-stocked with supplies and had everything we could possibly need—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even easier. We especially loved being near Sequoia Park Zoo and the beautiful redwood-filled park next to it. There was even a farmers market just a block away, plus several great restaurants within walking distance. The host went above and...

”The entire family just loved the stay at your lovely home! If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely want to stay there. I have never been in such a cool house like this one. Unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice and tidy and lots of amenities. Room for all five of us and two dogs. We really, really loved it!!! Magical was a good word for it.”

”We ran out of coffee filters and dishwasher soap. There was no pepper in pepper shaker or on shelf. It would have been nice to have oil be a staple. Primary bathroom ran out of conditioner. Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have a couple of throw blankets so we could snuggled in them and used less heat. ”

"The hotel is definitely good quality for families. Old school motel feel with newly done rooms. The surrounding area isnt great ir inviting but hotel is worth the money and breakfast and pool facilities are very good!"
