Matkat – Aripe

Gorgeous facilities with many small things to be fixed. Pools are great. My kid could spend hours playing with the water. The breakfast at peak times was chaos. Get up early and it will be much more enjoyable. Lousy coffee! Please fix that and breakfast will be nearly perfection. Without good coffee it will not be even close. The deluxe room is spacious for 3. The shower flooded every time we took shower. Feels far from a 5 star hotel when you need to mop the floor yourself everyday! Could easily hear the evening show to the room. The food at the hotel at lunch time was nothing special. Village close to the hotel is very small. Hire a car and drive around the island. Easy to get out and go have dinner in Los Gigantes or any other place nearby. Most likely will not return to this hotel anymore but could give a try to another Melia resort.
