”We had a great stay! I was concerned before arriving after reading some of the reviews, especially regarding the breakfast. Some said it wasn't there at all, and some left negative comments. I'm not sure about them, but for us, it worked out great. Breakfast is available Monday through Friday, but not on the weekends. There was a great variety and I was surprised at how tasty everything was. We stayed several days so it changed throughout. The scrambled eggs, omelets, and waffles were all tasty....

”Very clean. Host was great and easy to reach. There were a few minor issues, but my stay was too quick to care to fix. So I let the host know, and they said they’d check and resolve anything after my check out. Cannot recommend these people enough!”

”Property lawn was not mowed before our arrival. Grass was at most, a foot tall. It took several calls to get it mowed the following day. We were very disappointed. Neighbors told us they had asked the host to mow two weeks prior to our arrival. Negligent.Ladder on the dock is extremely dangerous and difficult to use. Needs to be replaced.Picnic table was peeling paint, splinters, and unusable.Easy fixes to make this an enjoyable stay. This place just needs a little love.”

”Staff was friendly. Nice breakfast. Could use more staff, in the cleaning department. Hallways and rooms needed a good vacuuming. Cheerios found in corners of kitchen. Pill on the floor of the bedroom. Tables in breakfast area needed wiping between guests. I think they need more staff. Was quiet and convenient.”

”The house was very clean and decorated so nicely. We really enjoyed our stay. Only recommended change I have is add a bar in the bathroom. I was traveling with my elderly parents and getting in and out of the tub was challenging for them. ”

”Our daughter got married at Pine Knob, and we used this property to host her and her bridesmaids in the lead-up to the ceremony. It suited that purpose beautifully, with guests especially enjoying the variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for eating and visiting with each other. There was plenty of room for getting hair and make-up done, and the house and yard provided many lovely and interesting backdrops for photos. The house was spotless, and there was ample parking and a well-equipped...
