”The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, has lovely rooms, delicious food, a comfortable lounge and wonderful staff!”

”Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond.”

”Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”

”Fantastic location right in the heart of Grassington — quiet, warm, and wonderfully cosy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s an easy stroll to the Yorkshire Dales Visitor Centre, and there’s a beautiful 4.5‑mile loop walk along the river that brings you back through Grass Wood Nature Reserve. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the wider Dales, with Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, the Ribblehead Viaduct and more all within easy reach. We'll definitely be booking Grassington Lodge...

”The Den was fantastic - clean/plenty of room/kitchen facilities fantastic/bedroom fabulous and great walk in shower - could not fault a single thing about our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a great break - can walk into Leyburn for shops and good pubs and great walks of the The Dales.”

”Although there was an issue with my booking on arrival (I had a confirmation but it hadn’t been received by the hotel), they were great about it and didn’t hesitate to get me a room organised. I was a late arrival and the kitchen had closed but again the team sorted me something to eat. The room was great and breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended!”

”Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. ”

”Room really clean Very impressive tea and coffee tray with lots of choice. Ground coffee bags and Yorkshire tea Excellent quality toiletries in the bathroom. Big bottles, top quality brand. It makes a difference. It’s the little things that make a difference and this place understands that. Breakfast was freshly cooked using top quality local ingredients. I will be staying again and highly recommend it ”
