”I had an excellent stay, as always. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and airy, with beautiful flowers and bird in the garden. And with a short walk to the wonderful Lalibela churches, it is the perfect place to stay. ”

The staff couldn't do enough to help and the hotel not only looks good but it is ideally situated in the centre of town.”

The uniqueness. The noises you can hear through the walls. (I need noise to fall asleep and I was there over Timket celebration)
I call this luxury. Wifi. A bed (with shiny bedding). A shower and running water. Friendly staff. A TV that I never used. (Like who needs television when life itself is entertaining enough). Transfer currency to Birr, as that is the only currency accepted. It states Complimentary water and transportation....
”FikirandRay is a relatively new hotel and offers comfort and quiet. It is a short walk from a restaurant with great views down the valley. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. You need a guide to get around and bargain but prices tend to be somewhat set. Lalibela is well worth seeing, which you can do in two days, or most pf it in one day.”
