”Staff is wonderful. Good choice indeed. Very relaxing and cozy comfort. Roses everyday on our bed. Loved it. Well done.🙏”

”Our stay at the Blue Nile was one beyond our expectations. We celebrated our 1-year anniversary there and the staff went above and beyond to show how much they appreciated our staying there. The manager picked us up from the airport. We changed and went to dinner which was great the chef greeted us at our table and made sure our meals were on point, He also greeted us each day at every meal we had there Thank You Chef it was a pleasure talking with you each time. The grounds were wonderful,...

”My overall experience was below average. Before our arrival, the hotel promised to provide airport pickup, but no one showed up, so we had to take a taxi instead. The internet in our room did not work throughout our stay. Three different hotel staff members tried to help, but none of them seemed to know the correct Wi-Fi password or how to fix the issue. The dining experience was another major disappointment. The breakfast buffet was far below the standard I would expect from a hotel that...

”Clean rooms”

”Terrible hotel. No hot water. Windows rattle and whistle in modest wind. No shampoo. At restaurant I asked for hot water. It was yellow. I said I didn't want tea, I wanted hot water. It came back a bit less yellow. Coffee is gross, bitter beyond belief. Very loud at restaurant end of building. They don't turn on generator when power is out (frequent). I heard 4 sisters is much better option.”

”This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! ”

”The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing.”

”They have the best location in town for those who want to visit the Lalibela churches on their own. The staff is friendly and they even sent their own driver to meet me at the airport (price the same as for a shared shuttle). The dinner and the breakfast were excellent.”

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...
