”My wife and I stayed for two nights for our friends’ wedding in Whitley bay. Great seafront location and a lovely view. Perfect for our stay. Good communication from the host, easy to access, clean and nice apartment.”

”Nicely done out. A couple of issues in terms of equipment - only one mug so we had to go out and buy one the following day. Also no potato peeler, cafetière (coffee machine needed capsules which are more expensive to buy). The outdoor area could have been made more attractive. The alley at the back was full of rubbish. We did receive quick feedback to our concerns about the mug and the lockpad being left on the code. ”

”I stayed here previously last year but since then, standards of cleanliness and general upkeep seem to have fallen. In the bedroom, three of four pillows on the bed had brown marks on them; the dressing table chair had a long brown streaky stain on it (looked like 💩) and in the bathroom, there was no rubber seal on the bottom of the glass shower screen, so water poured out onto the floor when showering. Other minor cosmetic issues included missing tiles under the bathroom sink, and scuffs on...

”The door handles were sticky. The pictures have been took years ago. Marks all over. Place hadn’t even been hoovered when I went in. Shows wrong area on map. Very rough area it’s in. I left a week earlier as place was so dirty I didn’t even want to get showered. Also wouldn’t get a refund. Don’t. Book. ”

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the apartment was perfect”
