”Worst hotel ever in Europe. And yes, in this case I include Russia in Europe. Room stank like years of smoking, bathroom like piss. Piss stains on the toilet seat, whole rainbow of different coloured stains on all of the towels and bedding. Noisy and a spot light pointing at the window. Arrogant and unhelpful older woman at the reception (this one was definetly no lady). Avoid if you're travelling alone, can't say anything about the bigger rooms, but assume the worst.”

”The room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed and the shower had none of the malfunctions often experienced in hotels!! The public rooms were beautifully decorated for Xmas. We enjoyed two breakfasts at the extensive buffet but missed maple syrup for our pancakes! However we were most impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness shown by all the staff & we expressed this on our departure. We will be back!”
