”The valet parking was v convenient and the reception process slick. Loved the room- v clean and convenient with lovely view of the river. Bathroom and shower superb but we were bit surprised there was no shower gel - there were small bottles of shampoo etc and bar of soap but no gel. Lovely breakfast with exemplary service and the bar was a pleasant place to relax at the end of the day. All of the staff with whom we came into contact gave first class service and did everything they could to make...

”Generally the stay we had was good. Room was fine apart from the fact the carpet could do with a deep clean. This didn’t spoil our stay as we never walk around any floor without shoes. Breakfast was good and in plenty of choice. Maybe the etiquette of hotel staying could be better as some very inconsiderate guests have no consideration regarding the noise they make very late at night. Great location for Metro Centre and very close to bus stop for Newcastle. We had a lovely time.”

”Love the place and especially the baths. We have stayed twice -once in a deluxe room and once in a junior suite (Taittinger). Whilst spacious, lovely bath and comfy bed - it was noisy and light which was disappointing and didn't make for a great night's sleep”
