”Very old and outdated rooms. Weren’t the same shown on Expedia app when booking vs arriving. Had breakfast as part of our package and when arriving to food lodge (which wasn’t told to us at check in and had to find for ourselves) staff asked where are breakfast tickets were and we didn’t know we had to have them and had to go back to check in counter to receive breakfast tickets. Breakfast was cold and bland. Dragonfruit juice was the highlight of breakfast.”

”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”

”We stayed in the King Cottage, and we loved it! The bed was comfortable, there was a desk, couch, fireplace, closet, and kitchenette. The restroom had a porcelain tub and was as spotless as was the rest of the cottage. The property was beautiful and the landscaping was breathtaking with all the variety of plants, flowers, and fountains. We could smell lavender all day! ”I am a woman who often travels alone. This place was absolutely adorable. The room was super clean and comfortable - especially the bed. Best mattress I've slept on in forever. Parking was right outside my room door I felt very safe and it was so close to Fisherman's Wharf where I went to two consecutive days for whale watching trips. I would absolutely recommend 100%. Will definitely stay there again.”

”Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. This is an older property so you have to realize some parts are historic and don’t have amenities you might find in most newer properties. Our room didn’t have a/c. They did have fans and we could open the window. It was cooler outside so our room never got too hot. The historic portion might require some stairs off the elevator where a luggage cart can’t go.
