”和風の雰囲気がとても気持ちよく快適に過ごすことが出来ました。 スタッフの皆様もお若いですがとても親切で良かったです。”

”Siisti pieni hotelli erinomaisella sjainnilla. Ystävällinen palvelu, aamiainen maittava. Pyörien lainausmahdollisuus oli kiva.”

”Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone.”

”Space is beautiful and staff is helpful and friendly.”

”Great place. It was even better than we expected!”

”We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

”My fiancée and I stayed at a ryokan for the first time, and Ryokan Rangetsu couldn't have been a better experience! We stayed for one night, and when it was time to leave, we wished we had stayed longer. The ryokan is truly beautiful, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Our room maid, whose name we regrettably cannot remember, was polite and made our visit feel truly special. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy, and the backyard very beautiful. We also enjoyed the outdoor bath a lot!...

”This is only sort of kind of the whole property, Kyoto has very strict tax laws and needs to have a front desk and therefore part of the property is that, additionally the upper floors are inhabited, but none of that matters really because of how wonderful the people and the space are.”

”Great for solo travelers with a car. The covered parking is convenient and the staff was polite.”

”Lovely little ryokan, very traditional and homely. Traditional breakfast was tasty.”

”食事も京都らしくて、大満足でした”

”Wonderful Japanese breakfast and Keiseki dinner. Lovely onsen and rooms. Very helpful staff! Great location.”

”Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!”

”Lovely, quiet ryokan. Beautifull small garden. Lot of young travellers. Cozy kind of youth hostel. With taxis and busses one can reach whatever place. Lovely personel, except the owner whose moods vary a lot depending on alcohol intake. In three nights the mouldproblem in specially naths started to produce healthinfluencies. No smoking-place and in that meaning very pleasant.”

”Tolles Hotel mit für Japan sehr großem Dreier-Zimmer. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und Burg in Gehreichweite, ebenso sehr gute italienische Bar nebenan (Espresso und Frühstück!) und 7/11. Absolute Empfehlung”
