Perfect base for exploring Athens easily
Room with a fountain view was a good choice - and on arrival we were upgraded to have a view to Lycabettus hill, too! Room and bathroom were very clean, good size, bed was comfy (soft but not too soft) Breakfast had lot of choice and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect for us. Subway just across the street, but 15 minutes (slow) walk to Monastiraki or Syntagma. The only minor issues were not having hair conditioner in the bathroom (body wash, shampoo, hand soap and hand lotion were included) and if you are a very light sleeper then traffic noise can sometimes disturb your sleep.

Huone pihanpuolella hiljainen, kadunpuolella liikennemelu kyllä kovaa. Jos jotain huonoa, niin lukuvalo sängyn vieressä surkea. Mutta hyvä valinta keskustassa, hyvällä aamupalalla, oleva uusittu hotelli.

Hotelli oli vasta remontoitu ja huoneemme oli todella siisti ja kaunis. Hotellin yleisilme sisällä oli hieno ja kaikkialla oli puhdasta. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Aamupala oli pohjoismaisen tyylinen, tosin valikoima hieman suppeampi. Huoneemme ikkuna antoi tielle päin, ja liikenteen melu oli aika kova. Hotellin ympäristö oli sen verran rähjäinen, että lapsiperheelle en tätä aluetta suosittelisi. Työmatkalaisille tai aikuisseurueelle hyvä valinta, koska myös metroasemalle pääsi melkein suoraan hotellin ulko-ovelta.

Hyvätasoinen ja hinta-laatusuhteeltaan mainio hotelli. Tyylikäs ja viihtyisä. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Sijainti on aivan metroaseman vieressä ja Omonialta pääsee kaikkiin keskeisiin paikkoihin tosi hyvin metrolla. Omonia on vähän nukkavieru kulmakunta, mutta turvallinen ja palveluita on hyvin. Tyyppejä kyllä hengailee aukiolla, mutta kukaan ei edes kysynyt mitään saati tuputtanut jotain. Poliiseja on myös hyvin aukiolla ja sen läheisyydessä. Omonia on toisaalta vähän halvempi, kuin hienommat alueet.

Sijainti hyvä
Metrolla lentokentältä hotellin ovelle. Kävellen Akropoliin kukkulalle ja museoon, matkalla kävelykadut ja vanha kaupunki. Toisessa suunnassa lähellä Arkeologinen museo. Lähellä myös bussipysäkki, josta bussilla Dafnin luostarikirkkoon.

Excellent hotel - Really comfortable
Good value for money. Only minus is that I felt it was slightly cold in my room at nights. Also I smelled cigarette smoke on my last morning that likely came from the outside. My room was in the first floor. Service was great, staff were really helpful, check-in and check-out were super effortless. Very good experience all in all.

I truly enjoyed this hotel. It was in a perfect location. Be next to everything right in the middle or center of everything. The shopping mall was only six minutes from the hotel stores completely surrounding the hotel the staff and the hotel was completely great. The rooms were superb. I definitely recommend This hotel

Bed and bathroom were excellent...modern and well maintained. Shower was especially good. I was pleasantly surprised how large the room was, by European standards. The breakfast which was included in my room, was amazing... full Greek menu along with omelets, fried eggs, different varieties of bread etc. Got to even try some Greek cakes and delicacies. Overall yummy!! Location of the hotel is right next to the metro, so we hopped on to the train for convenient transport to main tourist destinations. Bus is also nearby. Only downside to this hotel is that it's situated in Omonia, the neighborhood is definitely run down and bit sketchy looking. However, we only went out to catch the train or bus to other places, so it didn't bother us. Very good value overall!!

Loved the location. Centrally located can walk to shops, dining, and Acropolis. Staff was very friendly and accommodating they even let us check out 2 hours late and held our luggage. Our room was clean, shower pressure and bathroom clean! Only negative thing is that there wasn’t an iron and ironing board. I needed to run a light iron over my dress for professional pictures and there wasn’t one in the room. Who irons on vacay anyway??? lol I normally don’t but I assumed there would be one in the room. I didn’t ask the front desk though so maybe they have one downstairs???? Overall I would definitely stay in the same hotel and same suite. Absolutely loved Athens!

The hotel is located in a very central place and easily accessible by Metro, and you can walk anywhere. The two things we found disappointing are (1) the curtains iver the windows are thin and don't really block the light as I'm used to from hotels and (2) the bathroom is tiny and the sink is in a small niche with not a lot if room for your things (perfume, toothbrush, makeup and so on)

The Athens Tiare Hotel is in an area of Athens that is going through a resurgence -- that is good. It is not there yet, but the hotel will make a positive impact. Service and the quality of the hotel were excellent.

Excellent location to stay in Athens. Close to city center. Staff is genounly trying to make your stay a pleasent one. They will do everything possibke yo help. I had an 87 year old father with wheelchair. The bathroom can easily be accessible. Shower bathrooms are available. Rooms are super clean. Breakfast is wothwhile. All in all it was an excellent stay. One drawback was the temperature control. Rooms get hit by the sun in the morning. The thermostat is funcky, but one call and receptionst fixed the temp issue.

This property is in a central, busy location. It is well-designed. It has good security. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We were on a low floor and the road noise was noticeable, but the fan setting on the HVAC was sufficient to drown it out. Our room was spacious, attractive, and the layout was unique. Also, walkable to many key locations.

Fint og sentralt hotell
Et veldig bra hotell som ligger sentralt til. Personalet er utrolig hyggelige og veldig hjelpsomme. Frokosten er veldig god. Vi er en familie på 5 som hadde en familie suite. Det fungerte fint. Er det noe som kan forbedres er det sovesofaen som gjerne kunne vært litt mer behagelig å sove på.
