The hotel was very quiet, which made for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, and the room overall was nice. I also appreciated the convenient location. Hotel ia close to fast-food options, Family Dollar, Dollar General, and across from a trampoline park, which was great for the kids. Another plus was the on-site convenience store area, which offered helpful items such as toothpaste, snacks, bathing suits, and other essentials.
There were a few areas that could be improved. Like the bathtub. Ours was peeling. Need to be replaced or upgraded.
Additionally, our pool experience was disappointing. Although everyone in my party was already included and paid for in my reservation, when we arrived at the pool the room key did not work. I had to return to the front desk. There I was informed that we won’t be able to let ourselves in they had manually let us in, count us and then distribute towels to each person. This process felt unnecessarily strict and made me feel mistrusted. Felt like I was in prison :(
Breakfast could also be better managed. There was along line, limited waffle makers, and no staff assistance to help with the flow. By the time we waited, the kids were hungry, and we ultimately went to McDonald’s instead. Having staff assist during breakfast would make a big difference.
Overall, the hotel has several strengths, especially in location and comfort, but addressing these concerns would greatly improve the guest experience.
