The only good thing about this motel is that they do manage to successfully refund you! I was traveling with my sister (18yrs) and they would not allow us to check in because she was under 21 years of age. Apparently their rule is that it’s ALL parties must be 21, even though this is nowhere stated on Expedia or their website. Front desk lady was very rude and unhelpful. Although they called me several months prior to confirm that I was over 21, they never inquired about anyone else even though I’d booked it for 2 people.

The condition of the motel in comparison to the cost of staying is disappointing. The lights for the ceiling fan did not work, only one bulb in the standing light next to the bed worked, one of the outlets next to the bed was blocked, the bed frame has holes from screws (appears that something was hung and removed but never repaired, the condition of the motel leaves much to be desired, the towels are incredibly small and low quality material (bring your own towels), you only get one sheet and one "comforter" but it's really a small thin blanket (bring your own blankets if you like to be covered at night), they skimped out on the blankets, sheets, and toilet paper, you get about one paper towel (a sheet, not a roll), batteries were missing from one of the remotes, the TV has very few channels (but we didn't mind because we didn't spend much time in the room), staff is only available during the day so make sure you ask for what you need before the evening, and parking is tough. It's a small parking lot. On a positive note, you get beach passes during your stay, parking is free in the parking lot, the beach and boardwalk are incredibly close, and it's in a central location to just about everything. Would we stay there again? Maybe. It definitely got the job done. Most places around the beach, especially so close, are expensive so compared to the cost of most places, it's not terrible but for the quality, it's disappointing. Tip for saving: book direct, not through Expedia.

First time staying here. Convenient to Boardwalk only 2 blocks away. Safe surroundings. The lady at the front desk was very nice, really personable. Parking was good. The pool was heated and clean. There are two stove top burners, microwave toaster a good size fridge with a freezer they even provided plates silverware and some pots and pans. There were a couple downfalls to the stay. The hotel room could use some general maintenance. For example the numbers on the air conditioner didn't work so we had no idea what the temperature was. There was a rust in the microwave, I was not super comfortable using that. There was an old built-in fridge under the sink and the door was no longer attached therefore fell off, I had a 3-year-old so that could have been potentially hazardous the door was not light. There was no overhead light in the room only a small bedside lamp provided. Also we were given a room with no bathtub during check-in you have to provide the ages of the children, I assumed having a 3-year-old we would have been assigned a room with a tub but I made it work although there was no light in the shower, and the four light bulbs that were in the bathroom only one of them worked and it was extremely dim.
