DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is dangerous, not up to code, not as pictured, everything is broken and full of junk it looks like an episode of Hoarders.Go read his google reviews the VRBO ones are fake. He is not professional! He is a scammer he went in when we were out for the day and took pictures of already broken things saying we broke it, total violation of privacy and unsafe. You can't lock the door when you leave we had no key. The beds are broken, with dirty mattresses on the floor & beds in closets! A sunshade that was attached by a bungee cord fell and hit one of us in the head. There was torrential rain/flooding & he tried to blame someone clogging a roof drain, nobody was on the unsafe roof. Patio has broken concrete & furniture.His roof balcony is not safe & full of broken furniture & not code as kids can fall over side. You can't safely get down to the dock the path is not safe in fact some of us could not even navigate the path. The dock is all piece milled together with old pieces of plywood and metal tied together and should be torn down the dock furniture is broken as are all lake items. The dock is not private there is a boat company operating off it & owner had guests over. All the pots & pans are not usable and everything is run down & barely works and falls apart. He keeps saying we should pay him for wave runner rental, he owes it to us for false advertising! We have reported him! He is a scammer and needs to be shut down! It is not safe to be here.

My family joined our friends at the Castle house on Father’s Day weekend. We had a wonderful time. Our host Jeff was very helpful and kind. We were able to access the lake very easily and enjoy taking the boat out. The house comfortably fit all nine of us and was very clean and well stocked. We will definitely book the Castle house again!

Our friend group was looking for a getaway location with beautiful views and enough beds for us to all sleep comfortably. Jeff’s property offered that and a fully equipped kitchen that we took great advantage of. The castle has lots of nicknacks that are really interesting and the sunset view can’t be beat.

What an amazing and unique vacation!!!! My family of 4 and my brother's family rented out the castle for spring break. Jeff met us upon arrival and gave us a tour. He was so kind and told us so much history about the castle and it's artifacts. The teens had a absolute blast. They went fishing, exploring the property and spent the day rowing out to island. The adults spent time enjoying the amazing view and relaxing. Jeff was so accommodating and helpful. If you are looking for a unique experience, this is the place!!!!

This is a bucketlist getaway for me and my long time friends. We knew we were going to travel to the area and go on a BBQ crawl while dungeon crawling and what better way that to do it in a castle on a beautiful lake?! Jeff is a fantastic and gracious host who gave us a thorough tour of the property and walked us through the house rules and extra rental options available. We mainly stayed on the first 2 floors and if we had just a couple more days would have spent more time on the top of the castle. Nice fantasy touches through out helped to complete the week for us. Thank you Jeff!

We booked this unique find to stay while we celebrated my birthday. This was very close to the restaurants and events we planned to visit. The views were excellent and the water access second to none.

Most unique place we have ever stayed. Plenty of parking, access to a dock on the water, plenty of things to do that are provided(paddle board, kayak, canoe, cornhole, board games, etc). So many different trinkets around the house. Absolutely amazing house and host.

This was our 6th stay at the castle hosted by Jeff. As always, he was a great host, gave great instructions for check in process, and made sure we’re good after our departure. Truly one of my favorite rentals in the lake Travis area, we’re already planning our trip back for next year. Just want to say thanks again to Jeff for always providing top notch service, a clean and tidy living space, and providing our group of friends with a yearly weekend escape to relax and recharge. See you in 2025!

Our host was very helpful but unobtrusive. We used the free dual kayak to visit the nearby island. The local restaurant featured a live duck sitting at the bar. (Did he say "Put it on my bill?") Plentiful wildlife on walks included friendly deer and a rooster who wished me good morning. We had plenty of privacy and enjoyed several nearby restaurants.

We had a wonderful time, swimming in the lake, hanging out at the castle, exploring the area, boating on the lake and playing at the local water park. We had 2 great meals at the nearby Beachside Billy’s located at the water park. Lots to do and Jeff was very accommodating.

Great stay, had plenty if great accommodations. Get your groceries you’ll want or need for the stay and that’s it. We did not leave. You don’t want to either, great space outside and inside. The water is always there when you want to swim or even go boating/jet skiing.
