Spacious 4 bedroom house in North Austin/Cedar Park with a huge back yard that has a BBQ grill and a firepit. The master bathroom also has a steam room function. It is about 20mile from Austin downtown.

Disturbingly Below Standard

Our family of five adults recently stayed here. When we arrived at the home we saw that it has serious problems with cleanliness, safety, and expected basic amenities. Hair in the bathtub and hair and beard clippings in two bathroom drawersShower curtain was moldy with mildew. [health and safety issue]. We bought a new one Dirty towels were wadded up and stashed under the bathroom sink. We of course had to launder those. We felt that we had to pre-wash everything we used in the kitchen. There was no laundry detergent or dishwashing detergent. We had to buy both.There were ant traps on the floor throughout the house.The air conditioning return grates were covered with dust and grime. One can imagine that the filters had not been changed recently [health and safety issue].Walls in the tub bathroom had holes where towel racks should have been. No towel racks.The dining table has six chairs. But only three were around the table when we arrived -- one of the chairs was upside down outside in the firepit area and two other chairs were in the garage. Ceiling light in a queen bedroom looked like it was ready to fall from the ceiling.Many light bulbs were missing – at least one in each room. Many in ceiling fixtures.There was only ONE washcloth for five guests.There were no bathmats to use when exiting the shower or tub.There were two hand towels for five people.Bath towels were old and looked like they had been purchased several years ago at Goodwill.

Needs cleaning and new furniture

Starting with the positive, the house was in a great location for us as we have family living close by. The house itself is very nice with a large nice backyard. That’s the good. The house has roach traps spread throughout the rooms. we had a roach climbing on an unopened bag of chips within an hour of arrival. The back yard has broken furniture and a barbecue pit that has not been cleaned. Some linens were poor quality like old thrown away towels. The few dishes in the kitchen were odds and ends no matching sets. When I took the sheets off at the end of our stay the mattress cover was covered in dirt, hair and stains. When we arrived the dishes were left in the dishwasher unwashed. The owners need to seek to find new housekeeping.

The house was spacious and the master bath was great. However it appeared to us the owner lacks some attention after each stay to follow up on how the cleaning crew did and if anything needed to be picked up or put away. Few things were lying around that we felt should have been picked up or put away in the garage. Not a deal breaker and yes we would stay there again as this house has a lot of potential to be one of the better stays in the area.

Nice property, needed to clean

I stayed for a few days with my family (5 adults and 4 children). The property manager's communication was very good and the property description is accurate and nice. Additionally, I had an aunt and her granddaughter join us unexpectedly, and I emailed the property manager about the addition and he was accommodating. The home is beautiful, the configuration of the home accommodated our entire party well, and the location was great because it was close to the necessary grocery stores, and the check-in process was easy. The only downside was some cleanliness issues. On the first day, my mother and and an aunt dusted the furniture as it was dusty and cleaned the refrigerator as it was not clean. Additionally, there was an insect problem; we saw a few cockroaches and gnats/very small flying insects in the kitchen near the sink. We bought insect sprays to address the insects, but the gnat-problem persisted each day. We liked the property, but we suggest perhaps a different cleaning service to address the cleaning issues.

Spacious and comfortable

This was a beautiful and comfortable home. Very spacious. The neighborhood was peaceful. Host was accommodating and pleasant. Yard was wonderful and very large. Great for families!! I would highly recommend this property!!!!

Great Vacation!

The house was great, plenty of room, huge back yard. It included a jacuzzi, which I missed in the listing, but we did not get a chance to use. Nice sized kitchen to do Christmas dinner cooking and plenty of room for dinner guests. Host was very quick to reply to messages & was very friendly to talk to. Would recommend for anyone visiting the Austin area.

Lots of rooms and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house!! The owner was great to deal with. He was always pleasant and prompt with his responses. The house was perfect for our family of 7! The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, there's 2 full bathrooms, the family room was cozy for all of us to relax in and the yard was big and even had a firepit! I highly recommend staying here! I know if I am back in this area, I will book this house again!!
