”Hotel Le CouCou is a wonderful property! The room was so spacious and comfortable and every detail wasn't missed! ”This was our second visit to Kaya. It won't be our last. The staff were incredible. The location is breathtaking and the access to the 3 Valleys is perfect. Facilities ticked every box. Really nice pool, steam room and sauna. the breakfast filled us up for a long day on the mountains. The evening meals weren't the best value compared to nearby restaurants but were still delicious. ”The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. ”Great hotel. Great ski in ski out location. One isssue was the location of our room. It had an amazing view over the slopes but the room was right above where all the deliveries came on skidoos, consequently the room was really noisy if you wanted to sleep with the window open (and even with it shut, to some extent). "Really nice and friendly staff. Next to a supermarket, boulangerie-cafe etc and within walking distance from Vaubian. The downside is that the hotel needs a thorough renovation. It's outdated. The balconies are very small and some to the back street with no view. The carpets are decades old and if one has allergies or asthma, one can have respitatory symptoms. Luckily during the summertime we were able to sleep with the windows open, so it was a little better. We stayed in an apartment and there was an on-off bad smell of a really bad sewage. Most likely the plumming was the cause. I filled a water bottle with the tap water. I'm used to that in France the tap water is safe to drink in the kitchen. A day later the water had a really bad smell and taste. One person had had only 1 glass of tap water and their stomach got very upset. The wifi doesn't work. "
