”Very quiet and quite private, especially as the owners were away. However their lovely friendly cat kept us company. Very good local small supermarket and petrol station within walking distance, also an excellent community cafe (the Market Kitchen). Comfortable bed, and even though the weather was v. hot it was quite cool in the cottage. Plenty of space for two, might have been a bit cramped for a family.”

”The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Cosy, clean and modern and there was some sloe gin on arrival! One criticism would be the poor water pressure (I know there is not much that can be done unless a booster pump is fitted). This made the shower quite slow and also filling the kettle was slow. The Bluetooth speaker was a good addition and also Effy the very friendly cat!”

”The property is stunning, and the views are fabulous! I also noticed that the beds are very comfortable, everyone slept well. Overall, we have had a brilliant stay. The only thing I would mention, is considering the amount of money spent, I was surprised with how much was asked of you to do before leaving as early as 10am, I also had an email saying don’t strip the beds, but a text message an hour before we have to be out, to say we did have to strip the beds? I would just make sure any text...

”The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week...
