Huvilat – Ayr

”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc. It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”

”The hotel decor is tired and there was a lack of info in our room ie how to use tv stations. The pool area lacked signs to know where to get towels, what was the procedure for using the pool, sauna etc., we had to ask. Staff were very helpful and pleasant It would have been useful to have local info provided in our room. Having said all this, we would go back. The food was excellent and catered for my gluten free needs.”

”Wonderful luxurious small hotel in Ayr. Owners are very welcoming. Comfy bed, lovely linens, spacious, quiet. Walkable to town center. Highly recommended.”

”Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon! Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location.”
