”What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

”Set in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks on your doorstep and two local dog friendly pubs that serve food. The owners are lovely and helpful in person and replied to our messages very quickly before we came. The accommodation is very clean and really cosy, dog friendly being a plus. Will definitely visit again this summer.”

”A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime.”

”Great size room, cot provided. We were pre-warned of Christmas parties being on over the weekend and had been put further away from an potential noise, we didn't hear a thing and weren't disturbed at all.”

”Absolutely fantastic. As we checked in late we had to call for the night porter. He was so helpful. Room was really good, clean, spacious. Bed was large and comfortable. Room quiet. Plenty of Tea/coffee. Breakfast was also excellent. Kirsty made sure we had everything we needed and more. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Lovely grounds to walk round. Just need to come back and stay longer. ”
