”Instead of staying at a hotel for a wedding in Garden City, we stayed at Deirdre's place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'm happy we got to walk the entire 2.3 mile boardwalk on Friday (4.6 miles in total), ride the entire boardwalk on Saturday morning with bikes provided before the wedding then spend a few hours at the beach on Sunday. ”The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!”

”Very nicely done property on Long Island, literally minutes off of the LIE. Bed was very comfortable, neighborhood was very quiet, hosts also very quiet. This location was ideal and very cute. Tall ceiling helped to make it feel larger than just one room. Loved the large walk-in shower. Host was very easy to contact, quick to respond, and very accommodating regarding late night check-in. Highly recommend and will consider this location first for our next trip to LI.”

”We very much enjoyed our stay at this Bay Shore, NY accommodation. It's nicer than the photo, which really doesn't do it justice. ”The location of this property is excellent. Right on a cove so you could put in and out kayaks, etc. if you wanted to bring them. ”We all had an amazing time. Convenience to the beach was a bonus. Spectacular views of the ocean n the bay. Plenty of space , screen doors were annoying ( but I also live on the beach and understand how beat up everything gets). Would definitely rent this house again.”

"”Free shuttle bus service”… don’t plan to use that! We waited for over 1 hour for the shuttle at the airport in the evening and the morning shuttles back to the airport were departing only every hour and were already fully booked, so we had to Uber. We were gonna have quite a short stay anyways so that 1 hour wait plus then driving around different terminals on the way to the hotel cut off a big chunk of our planned sleep and left a bitter taste. To put it short, our expectations were not met. "
