”I liked this hotel. It is quirky - an old haveli, rooms are all interesting and the landing areas between them have seating / meeting areas - cool and pleasant spaces. The room towels are a non-original shade of grey. Not dirty at all but not new I suppose. The dining area has a clear view of the lake and above it is more seating again with glorious views. The breakfast is comprehensive - some lovely pancakes - and the service there is excellent. ”

”If you are lucky enough to get room from this Hotel, I say, you must go. This place is so good that staying here is good reason only to visit in Udaipur. All was so easy, so comfortable and so well managed. Interior was fantastic, all is clean. Staff helped you with any questions. ”

”The location is fantastic. The hotel is beautiful & very well maintained. The food at Ambrai restaurant was also very good. Staff was helpful. Only issue I had once was at dinner on Friday night when the restaurant got crowded & the intern waiters didn't coordinate my order well. Apart from that all good. The hotel also had private boat facility for sunset tour of lake Pichola, which was pricey but fantastic ”
