Casa Martino ( - Translated as ‘House Martin’ named after the birds that fly past the balcony) is a comfortable, stylish and well equipped apartment which has had fantastic reviews. It is ideal for a relaxing break and is in a great location. We have stayed in many apartments locally and we wanted our apartment to be extra special, to include some touches of luxury, style and comfort whilst retaining character and so you can have most relaxing and comfortable stay in Bajardo! Situated in the hilltop Ligurian village of Bajardo, the apartment is a few minutes walk away from the piazza and local bars / restaurants which offer traditional local cuisine. It is a short walk up to the amazing old church and viewpoint with its exceptional panoramic outlook over the Alps and towards the Mediterranean Sea. This is the ideal location for base to explore this beautiful region: where you have the choice to stay and gain a real flavour of village life, to explore the mountains and other local villages, to walk in the unspoilt Ligurian countryside and by olive groves, to browse local markets, visit seasonal festivals, to swim in mountain rivers, to take a drive down the mountain to lovely Riviera beach resorts or go shopping in the smart boulevards of Sanremo or Bordighera. The apartment has a stunning balcony with spectacular views across the village and into valley where the house martins, swifts and swallows whizz right by you. The galley kitchen overlooks the medieval streets and gives a window on the old village life that hasn’t changed in years.
The kitchen has a gas cooker and oven, large fridge and all the items needed for basic cooking and baking.
The large modern shower is situated in the bedroom, there is a small toilet accessible via the bedroom
The large king size bed has a high quality mattress and a cotton bedlinen.
There is a dining table / desk and two chairs, plus a small table and chairs on the balcony.
Towels and bedlinen are supplied.

The apartment has a secure lockable front door, it is the top flat accessed by a short staircase as seen in the photos, with another tenant living in the flat underneath.
